Can't Start New thread (New User)

Help! I just joined and can't start a new thread. Also, at the bottom it is blank where the permission list usually appears. I was looking to start a new thread and cannot find the option to do that anywhere.

one cannot create a new account and immediately start new threads.

Rules
All new users are automatically added to a New Users Group and will remain there until they have 3 posts. Users in this group are unable to start new topics, send private messages, and modify their profile.

Thanks! Being a man I very seldom read the rules (instructions) until AFTER I mess up.

No problem. We mostly did it to prevent spammers from signing up and creating new threads....this one change has eliminated 99% of the spam from this site. Your only 1 post away now.

I got a new phone and forgot to transfer my old ID and usufans password over before I cleared everything. How do we recover our password? I've tried sending a verification to my email, but nothing actually gets sent.
