Who The Hell Cares Game - this week we go to SE Wisconsin for a matchup of two perineal D3 powers.
The St. John's University Johnnies opened the 2023 season last weekend at home versus the preseason #4 team (Trinity-Texas) in thrilling fashion -scoring 17 in the 4th quarter including FG with 53 seconds left to force OT. Then in OT they got the FG on first possession and an INT locked in the win. SJU's senior TE Alex Larson was named a preseason D3 All American after his Junior campaign where he received 22 TD passes, a school record.
The UW-Whitewater Warhawks host the Johnnies this weekend after going on the road and beating #19 John Carroll University last week. The Warhawks trailed 3-13 at halftime, and outscored JCU 24-10 in the second half to come home victorious.
