This battle is

6 Seed, from 2018-19, the win at UC Irvine, which would then go to the NCAA Tournament and beat Kansas State

VS

11 Seed, from 2004-04, the win over Big Ten team Northwestern.

I just now noticed this is a battle of beating the Kansas State Wildcats by proxy vs. beating another P5 purple wildcat team when they weren't great.
