WTHCG - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has three teams ranked in the top 15 of the D2Football.com Top 25 Poll. The Grand Valley State Lakers have two losses this year with the first coming in week 1; a 20-24 loss on the road to current #10 Indianapolis Greyhounds who are currently on a school-record 13-game winning streak. The Lakers' second loss this year came two weeks ago at current #7 Ferris State Bulldogs, a 27-28 heart breaker which saw the Bulldogs score the game-winning TD on a 8-play 60-yard drive with 15 seconds to play. The Lakers get a third chance at a top-10 team this week when they travel to Ashland, OH to take on The Ashland Eagles, who are currently rated #4 with a record of 7-1. The Eagles' lone loss came in week 1 on the road by a score of 23-26 to current #2 Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks. Last weekend the Eagles won on the road at Wayne St (MI) by a score of 30-10
