WTHCG - This week's game comes from the Colonial Athletic Association. Last week, the CAA had 5 teams in the top 20 of the FCS Coaches' Poll(#1, #10, #15, 16, & #18) and 3 more receiving votes. The Elon University Phoenix are ranked #15 in the FCS Coaches' Poll and are sitting at 6-1 with their only loss coming in week 1 on the road to the Toledo Rockets 13-47. Last week the Phoenix won on the road against the Rhode Island Rams (1-6) by a score of 35-34 which saw their QB Davis Cheek throw for a career best 331 yards and RB De'Sean McNair also get a career best of 126 rushing. The Phoenix have beaten 3 ranked teams already this season, and play a ranked team on the road this week. The Villanova Wildcats are ranked #16 in the Coaches' Poll and are sitting at 4-3 overall after last weekend's 8-30 loss at #1 James Madison Dukes. The Wildcats lost 13-16 at Temple Owls in week 2 and 10-19 at Albany Great Danes in week 4. The Wildcats held James Madison to only 45 yards rushing and 316 total offense - the Dukes had averaged 290 rush and 517 offensive yards per game coming into their match-up with Villanova.
