WTHCG - This week's game features two American Southwest Conference foes in NCCA D3's top 5. The D3Football.com Top 25 from Week 5 has the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders ranked #1 with 21 of 25 votes. The Crusaders are coming off a 44-10 road win over the Southwestern Pirates (2-3). The puts them on a 15 game winning streak after 2016's undefeated D3 championship season. The Crusaders last lost in the regular season in 2015 on the road at this week's foe - the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys who are ranked #5. The Cowboys went on the road and routed the East Texas Baptist Tigers 80-42 last week - handing the Tigers their first loss of the season. In 2016 the match-up between the Cowboys and Crusaders ended up 20-15 in favor of the Crusaders.
