WTHCG - This week's game pits two ranked Division 2 teams from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). The Central Missouri Mules were ranked #25 in last weeks D2Football.com Top 25 Poll and have a record of 2-1 after racking up 614 yards at home last week against the Missouri Western Griffons in a 66-44 win. The prior week the Mules fell to #17 Fort Hays State Tigers 6-35. This week they hit the road to play #10 Emporia State Hornets. The Hornets are also 2-1 and coming off a road win over Missouri Southern State Lions 36-29. The Hornets' loss came in week 1 at #1 Northwest Missouri State Bearcats 0-34
