I know we can block certain users, but wondering if it's possible to block topics completely? Doesn't look like it currently, but perhaps something in the future? That way when the closet byu-p fans drone on about how great that team is, I don't have it clutter up the rest of the forum.

That is not sometime currently available in the message board software we use.

A problem with a feature that allows you to block topics is you could type in a key word to block, and it would block topics about things other than what you want blocked. And you would still see the topics you don't want to see if they are referred to in a way other than the key word.

Like if you want to block topics about BYU, then you would even miss a topic about signing a player who also had an offer from BYU. More likely though we would sign is a kid who transfers from somewhere like Arizona State, who had BYU amongst his offers out of high school. Hell, you probably would have missed alot of threads about assistants we hired cause they mention BYU as a school they were at at some point. Along with still seeing the threads about BYU you hate that just refer to them as anything else.

Or if you are sick of talking about former coach BA. You type in Blake as a topic to block, but still see posts that refer to him as BA. And miss threads about us recruiting kids named Blake.
