the home page where the news articles and tweets are sends me straight to host gator. On two computers that I have tried in different locations.

The server was down for a substantial amount of time a couple of days ago which was causing this to happen (what better way to advertise your hosting company than showing an ad while the website you are trying to visit is down). The home page is working now though.

should I just clear my history? because when I type in usufans.com it still sends me to host gator. I have to type in usufans.com/forums to get on the site. Even then I cannot get the news feeds. Thanks a ton. Sorry to bug you.

Try clearing cache and see if that helps. I'm not able to replicate the problem anymore
