all we need to do is win the WAC tourney. Its still doable. But it is a lot of improvement.

Re: I'm not sure how I feel about this
The point is that even Barnes claims this letter was because of a "few fans". Its not the responsibility of the admin. to apologize for individual fans actions. If thats the case SUU should apologize for that one guy behind the Bench. BYU should apologize for all their fans who were sore losers. We ...

Re: Is Igor red shirting?
A shooting big man is awesome to have just look at Dirk. All I meant was if he's not getting time now when we really dont have a big man to spare, then why would he get minutes when we have a surplus of big men within the next 2 years? If a big man can shoot that is awesome, so long as he can still ...

Re: Is Igor red shirting?
If Igor leaves I honestly wouldn't care. Next year we'll have, Stone, Shaw, Reed, Harris, and Clifford... not to mention others commits who will come after missions etc. I really feel we have got the big men. Adding more big men especially players who aren't learning the system might do more harm th...

win the WAC tournament in March... we can do that. The only team that I'm very worried about is NMSU. If Stone develops, Jardine is healthy and we can learn to hit FTs and 3 pointers... we can take them. Things I think are definitely doable. However even if we do that, we're 1 and done.

Re: Is there a good reason why we are playing @TA&M-CC?
Seeding is important because people will always say "No respect unless you win in March". Sure teams with 12 seeds can win. But its easier for the lower seeds to do so. That is the whole point of seeding, so that the best teams from the regular season get rewarded by having easier games.

Re: Is there a good reason why we are playing @TA&M-CC?
Does RPI really matter anymore? Last year proved to me that it does not matter how well the team plays, we need to win the conference. We wont be able to beat the stigma of the WAC. The only way this happens is if bigger teams are willing to play us, which they really aren't. Reason being: We aren't...

Hockey is also a relatively expensive sport to field. Not only that we'd likely get lit up in Division 1 (a la NCAA). Hockey is a sport where there is a huge difference between Division II and I. Going DI would also be difficult because of a lack of local interest and competition.

I'm going to assume that was Michigan State's JV team? Kind of how like we play Denver's JV team. I'm pretty sure Michigan States Division 1 team would steam roll us.

Re: WSU Scott Bamforth's performance...
I think Weber is much better than anyone thought (including those of us who predicted Weber winning). If Lilliard and Bamforth play like this come March, not only will they win the Big Sky, I can very easily see them going at least a couple of games into the tournament. How many teams can stop a dua...

that might be more true recently, but for the most part we post a lot more about the Aggies, our recruits, and relevant teams. The only reason I even said anything was that I wanted to point out how BYU has been acting in regards to us, because of their loss.

3 years ago the BYU/USU hockey games used to be really good. Now that USU blows out every team games are not competitive, therefore not that fun to watch. Maybe its time for USU to leave D-2. I know I wont go to hockey games unless there is some form of a competitive atmosphere.

Are we obsessed? I have seen just as many topics about them on our board. Yes, but we admit to it. We HATE BYU. They HATE us. I dont like them them because of how disrespectful they are, and how they cant see the painfully obvious. Their argument is essentially revolved around how USU is less of a ...

if you have a guy start off 5-5 from beyond the arc, with a solid contributing PG. You will beat BYU in the Marriott Center. There are not many teams teams that will beat a team that can beat a team that can shoot over 50% from 3. In terms of people saying "Lilliard was bad, otherwise we would have ...
