Re: Way to Early Schedule Prediction

I think we split BYU and St. Mary's. Classically, those are very competitive games, and they're early in the season, which means we're still figuring out who replaces Sam, and how. I do not think Sam will be replaced, he was the heart and soul of that team, if you watch the MWC championship games h...

Per hartwell only 3 other mw schools allowing fans in Wyoming and the two Nevada schools. I would have thought Air Force would let in the cadets at least. Kind of surprised no on Boise. I was hoping to go to the Nevada game this year hopefully they'll have some tickets on StubHub or something that ...

It is up to the high school governing body to determine sites, USU has nothing to do with that. unless they are selected, No school on the front wants to drive to Logan to play a game

Re: Adams is in the transfer portal

I remember Adams coming in super late prior to the start of last season. The announcer made that comment in the clip that he had only been in Logan for like a week prior to starting in that game vs WF. That is NUTS!! Then he negates an awesome strip-6 play by Woodward. A score that likely could've ...

Re: Colombi Transferring

No it is not any different at all. If I was a junior O.T. in the program looking to start, and a grad transfer comes in I might leave if I figured he was better than me. With the injuries that occur at Q.B. then Henry would have been in the game just like he was at Texas Tech. He went from being a ...

Of course you bring in any player that can improve the position as depth or as a starter. H.C. and daddy thought he was going to start when the transfer happened so he bolted rather than compete for the starting job. Every grad transfer that comes in has a good shot at being a starter, and those th...

I have nothing against the kid, hope he does ok, maybe he will get a starting job if the starter is injured

Re: Player opt out at USU not allowed?

Maybe so. But words do matter. It’s a bad look, especially considering the irony of his past actions. Words taken from a media source, that I knew were wrong as soon as reported do not mean much to me because I knew what the policy was, so if those reported knew what the policy was as far as the NC...

Can anybody who heard GA on 1280 explain the context that was missing from the Trib quote? He apologized and said that basically we don’t have anybody on the team that has opted out and that’s why there’s no opt out policy or they haven’t had to use it. Re: Player opt out at USU not allowed?

Well the NCAA has a policy about opting out as does USU as far as the virus goes, so this was much ado about nothing. He had 2 kids that opted out of spring practice because of concerns about covid and both remained on scholarship.

As long as Cache Valley continues to improve which they have not been a hotspot for Covid for long time. I don't see why they won't allow at least five to six thousand fans in the stadium. You never tell a kid you are the starter when recruiting him, but Shelley has the most experience, and most likely should be the starter, but Peasley will be in waiting, and if Shelley slips in the practice or games he would be replaced in a hurry..

No school in the Pac-12 or the MWC will play unless the conference approves, and those that can not play would see it as a major disadvantage not to play given that no eligibility is lost by playing, so they will be voting no play. You can not decide on your own to just play.
