On the KSL pick'em page, 4 of the 7 picked USU to win.

Re: This is what Duryea should do
Agree, but I would not allow any in state or MWC school to recruit, release to the rest. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Im torn about the situation but this is where my thoughts have been leaning as well. The "no release" is such a broad stroke I'm worried about it sticking after the Memphis fias...

I beleive Wells made this statement because Boise was the defending conference champion. Next year, the road to the championship will likely go through Air Force.

I was surprised he threw Bolton in there, especially at that point in the game. Adams St had just trimmed the lead from 26 to 16 with about 5 min to go. Maybe it was to give Rector and Perkins a little wake-up call.

Re: Better of w/o Collete
Keep in mind that one of the biggest reasons DC even got a chance to show his skills last season was because of the void Davis created when he left. Similar situation with Spencer Butterfield. He really came on strong after Preston Medlin got hurt and Butter began to get more touches. The point is, ...

Re: What does everyone think
Firing him does not even enter into the equation. He is a young coach and is still learning. He will learn when to go for it on 4th down and when not to. I don't think USU is in a position to come up with anyone better at this point. Another young coach is a gamble and not sure of any established c...

Re: Unfortunately, we have just witnessed
this program peak. And it happened before this year and we didn't even know it. That's it. This ride has ended. The other part that is really disheartening is that the best run (outside of the Merlin years) in USU football history did NOT produce a signature road win over a big time program, and ma...

GA left Utah for a HC job at SUU and was down there for one year before he came back to KWit asking for his job back. I don't blame him, I know the current coach has SUU on the right path, but lets just say that Cedar City, Utah just isn't for everybody. I think he was the DL coach at Utah under Me...

Re: Donkey fans
I think it is mostly jealousy that makes us hate Boise. We want to be where they are right now. They have had several coaches change, yet they continue upward. It tells me that it is a cultural thing and not just a coach thing. Their fans demand wins and won't take less. They support with their wal...

Kent Myers should have been the QB of this team since day one. And that's all I have to say. Strongly disagree. I think Kent should have come in the 2nd half of Washington when Chuckie could barely walk. But Kent has got to get his accuracy down. (Which will come) but I don't believe Kent should ha...

Agreed. I believe the screens helped against Auburn to keep the defense from getting too aggressive. When used right, they are great. When overused, not so much.NVAggie wrote:I don't care what we run as long as it works.

Excited to have this back! I remember going to an Aggie midnight madness back in '02 ish. During the slam dunk contest, Mike Ahmad dunked it over one of the smaller players and almost injured both players. I gotta believe that was one of the items that pushed Stew to move away from it.
