Re: WAC > MWC in footbal

The WAC is a little better than the MWC overall this year, but not really by that much.

Re: USU vs Idaho stats comparison

Base on these stats I get the following prediction for the game next Saturday:

Score: USU 27.50, Idaho 32.59
Rushing: 195.93, 114.83
Passing: 201.06, 340.81
Total yds: 396.99, 455.64

This does not account for home field advantage, but I just wanted to throw those numbers out there.

Re: Next years WAC Schedule at Home

Yeah, next year's schedule is looking good for six home games. I think it's interesting to look out to 2012, too. Our conference schedule would include Hawai'i, Idaho, NMSU, @LaTech, @SJSU and then splitting a home and away game between the Texas schools. We have Utah in Romney and play @Colorado St...

Re: Next years WAC Schedule at Home

Our OOC looks pretty good, though. We are playing @Auburn and @BYU, but we have Wyoming and Colorado St in Romney. Those last two should be pretty good draws and pretty good games. Rumor is that we are also playing Weber at home, which is likely going to be one of our better draws for an FCS opponen...

Here you go, boys. The new WAC versus the new MWC, from a purely geographical standpoint:

Re: Football scheduling

Well, there were three. Fresno St, Nevada and SJSU. That's probably a bit more than average, but it's bound to happen from time to time. I'm sure that scheduling the conference games and keeping everyone happy is a tough proposition. Keep in mind, of course, that we got two WAC teams this year after...

I just saw the discussion on the other forum where somebody was asking about posting future football schedules. Gonna see some upsets today

I was just taking a quick look at the ESPN scoreboard, and five of the six ranked teams playing at this moment are losing to unranked teams. Some more than others, but some pretty bad. Northwestern has already beaten Iowa (not too big an upset), Auburn is down 2 TD's to Georgia and Utah is getting t...

Wrong time posted for SJSU football game

The schedule is showing me that the SJSU football game is at 4pm today. Based on what is on the official website and ESPN, that game is at 6pm MST. The only place that 4pm works is Alaska. ;) I wasn't sure if you manually entered the schedules or if they are automatically generated. If this was just...

Yeah, it was LaTech for me, too. Even a loss there I would have understood, but we were just so... flat... in that game. A trend that continued in the Hawai'i game and the first half against Nevada.

I don't want Texas. I don't have a problem with Texas St and UTSA wanting to move up. But I'm not really going to get excited about playing them. I am not at all excited about the Texas schools joining. I was frequently thinking along the same lines as you, too. When the site launched, Recruiting was mentioned as probably the 1st thing that would be added to it.
