Re: NIL Data
Interesting tweet showing projected NIL data for next season for basketball: https://twitter.com/JasonBelzer/status/1767237790691938317 Per the research, Tier 1 schools (i.e., the P5, including big east because no more P12 next year), have NIL pools ranging from $500k-$3MM, while Tier 2 schools (li...

Re: Nevada!
Alford was being passive aggressive. Clearly he believes their team is the hottest team in the MW right now, which they may be. They also have a lot of talent on that team. I can see why he’s frustrated, but a true professional doesn’t make a comment like that. no way is Sprinkle saying that if sit...

Does anyone have a clip of Ian's second dunk towards the end of the game? I thought he was just going to lay it up and then he throws down the monstrous 2 handed dunk. For me it was the greatest sporting event I have attended. Not only the shot but the performance Sam put on in the whole tournament was flat out awesome. People forget in the quarterfinals game Sam got a 4th foul with 16 minutes left and then NM went up 11. The comeback against Sam put on NM was aw...

I was standing up holding my 3 month old baby boy, also named Merrill, when that shot went in. I did this river dance style celebration around the room, meaning all legs without moving any part of my upper body and disturbing the sleeping child.

Re: NM’s bigs
This is the matchup that’s been giving me the most anxiety. Great handled himself well against Ledee, but it was a slugfest. I’m expecting the same and we will need a one of them, Sakho or Templin, to do well with more minutes or it could get ugly. We need Osobor to be dialed in defensively and yes...

3-Reno 12-6
4-SDSU 12-6
5-Boise 12-6
6-CSU 10-8

Sh!tty timing. It will likely be a nagging injury from now through the end of the NCAA tourney and might slow him down and could easily get re-injured but he will continue to play. He will get the necessary treatment he needs. Yeah with his style of play it's going to be tough to be himself the nex...

I prefer a comfortable win and well rested starters to a statement win. When's the last game Sprinkle rested starters? Tight rotations. We should've beat that team. Best match up we've had since Marquette. Unfortunately our coach was busy preparing for his next job instead of scouting Missouri.

Re: Simple paths to the 1 seed
So there are two paths. First, Aggies win out. Nothing else that happens in the conference matters. Second, the winner of the BSU/Nevada game needs to lose their second game. With that in mind, we should cheer for Boise State over Nevada, right? Boise State is more likely to lose at SDSU than Nevad...

Maybe we need to reconsider our target hires? Instead of hiring the young, up-and-comer that is rising quickly through the ranks that treats USU as a one, or two-year stop, we should be looking for another Stew Morrill. We should find a guy that has made his money and coached with some success but ...

Re: Mock selection committee gives us a 6
I would absolute be pumped for that matchup. Wish the Aggies could get SLC somehow….. Win out and I think we get there. Tall task, but that would add 3 more Q1 wins and we'd be considered one of the hottest teams in the country. It also means we beat SDSU (possibly, I guess) which the committee has...

Sprinkle and his coaches get paid extra for winning the conference and making the dance. He may be leaving when the season is over but he's focused on finishing strong so Aggie fans need to chill a bit.

The game will be played at the Chase Center and not at USF's home court. Hopefully USF can get the victory. They were so close at St. Mary's and Gonzaga to getting the victory just could not close them out. USF has a really good team. Gonzaga right now is for sure in the tournament, the committee l...

To me it seems like if going small is an advantage why wouldn't every team just do that. They don't because it's not an advantage 90% of the time.
