Re: Jazz News: D-will to the Nets

I've come to grips with this a little bit and am pretty ok with it now. We get some good players (Favors could be great) and some potentially high draft picks. If they really didn't tell him and he found out on SportsCenter then that's pretty low of the Jazz organization though. I like Deron and hop...

Jardine's Dunk on SportsNation

They just showed Jardine's dunk on SportsNation. They replayed it like 5 times. Even Colin Cowherd (who I think is an idiot 99% of the time) thought it was a nasty dunk.

I don't have any way to get the video off of my DVR...sorry.

Blue seats???

I was at the Spectrum ticket office today and there was a salesman there talking to some of the facilities guys about new chairs. He had an Aggie blue seat with Utah State Logos on it that he was trying to sell them on. I think the Spectrum seating, while ugly, is perfectly fine and I doubt it was m...

I'm sure (without knowing) it's Sept. 30th. That's the Friday before LDS General Conference. We've played them that Friday for at least the last few years.

Hope You Have Your Idaho Game Tickets Already

So, I went to the Spectrum Ticket office to get my WAC tourney tickets and the guy in front of me was there to buy some Idaho game tickets and the girl told him that they didn't even have two tickets left side by side. A full week and a half away. Sellout, here we come!

Re: Basketball verbal - Igor Premasunac, Lon Morris JC

Stew seems to often have a 5 with range. DuCharme (very undersized, but technically played the 5), Wilkinson, and Bendall all had/have range. It helps draw one of the post defenders out so that the power forward can go to work one on one.

I actually was sitting at the next table over when they started talking (his mom was a rather exuberant lady, so I overheard, haha) but I thought it was pretty funny that they ran into, of all people, Bill and Funaki Asisi to ask about Utah State. Those are some great Aggies!

I'm sad Sloan is gone, but I'm also kind of excited to see the change. I was 2 years old when Jerry started coaching for the Jazz and I've followed them since I knew what they were. I think Ty Corbin will do a good job.

I agree...but it still hurts, because I want a team that can handle all the accolades and winning streaks and being in the Top 25. That's the only way we're going to take the next step. Don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing in the towel yet, but I'm definitely disappointed.

No, no. This is a good thing. Now, when we play Pen State and they try to break his nose he'll already have the mask on, decreasing the chances of it breaking again (granted, it would hurt like crazy). Also, having a mask might actually help the refs take notice of the fact that Pen State plays dirt...

I don't remember which site/blog I saw this on, been about 7-8 years but I really liked the idea. You take all 1A/FBS teams and group them into four regions with each region having three tiers. The top two teams from each region's top tier play for the championship. The bottom two teams from the fi...

Plus a million. That was really some killer D we saw tonight. The great thing is, when we aren't hitting shots real well, we can always fall back on our D. I think this is why we could go far this year. Stellar defense.

NMSU has played SMC both of the last two years, and I feel fairly confident saying that this year's version is better, despite the loss of Samhan.
