Re: WAC RPI

What complete ignoramus was in charge of NMSU's schedule this year? NMSU plays: UTEP twice. UNM twice. ULL twice. No wonder they are losing so many games, they can't schedule worth a freaking flip (and they can't ball, apparently). GHA, NMSU schedules UTEP and New Mexico twice every single year. He...

I saw the title of this post and was like "Don't eat so much salad." I don't know about salad, but a double scoop serving of the licorice flavored ice cream (very delicious) at Farr's Ice Cream in Ogden will result in the subject line of this thread every time, without fail. Or some heavy doses of ...

Odds on favorite? Someone tell me why McGiven would return to the job that he left just a year ago for the same position at another school that is paying him better?? perhaps the "current job" would be like my acceptance letter to byu. Re: 40 meter goal

I'm about to be really soccer nerdy... I have to point out that there is no such thing as a 40 meter "penalty" shot because all penalty shots are taken from the penalty spot positioned exactly 12 yards from goal and with only the shooter and goalie in the penalty box and all players at least 10 yar...

I'm not saying the only reason we lost is because of the refs, but if people think that they didn't play a part in us losing then they obviously did not watch the game. They play a part in our wins as well. They are part of the game and everyone deals with them. We get favored too. But they weren't...

There were games in his career where he was great. 4 300 yard games in 2009 come to mind. Yet he also had some of the worst games in USU history that would've made even Leon Jackson laugh. (Yeah I know how bad he was, but have you watched Borel at times) Today was a prime example. From the 2008 gam...

Re: Hypothetical Football Championship

Gotta go with the home field of the higher ranked team. That's the only way a championship game will sell out for a non major conference. I think that the PAC 12 got it right as they decided to go with the home field. Should be a good reward for having the best record. Let the fans stay home and sp...

Re: Hypothetical Football Championship

I can't vote for a home field of anyone, or Utah's. I don't think the SF stadiums are that great for football (even 49er's home).
Denver is a nice place, often decent weather in December, and drivable for many MWC fans, and easy flights for many more.

Calling this a "merger" is a bit of a misrepresentation, I think. It's just the same thing that was being discussed over the summer about a scheduling alliance and possibly a game between conference champs for a potential BCS bid. :bs: This make absolutely no sense to me. 1- Why would the MW, who h...

I voted no, mainly because we've not won against a 'Big 6' conference member since OSU in the big dance - what was that, 2001? Not entirely true. Although it was a very bad Iowa team, the Aggies did beat the Hawkeyes a few years ago. And, as far as the topic at hand, I have to say that, yes, the Ag...
