Re: Coach Anderson Married

I had seen this tweet as well - more interesting to me is that the girls are adopted. That generally takes a little time, so that must have been in process for some time - unless the father gave up rights voluntarily. Either way, this is awesome to see a guy take in children to his family and respon...

I don’t understand why this is an issue for anyone, regardless of whether it is true or not. He considered the offer overnight. Looked at his family’s circumstance and the timing of things. Considered the geographic and cultural change. Mulled over his short-term prospects at USU vis-a-vis staying ...

I have to think Hartwell knew about it. Probably gave permission for it, which I understand is customary. However, it's not often you hear of specific coaches interviewing for a job. Normally, it's just a list of reported or expected candidates. Leaking the name of a coach who is interviewing is un...

Northern Iowa out of "Arch Madness"

after beating Illinois State last night in the opening round of the MVC tournament, UNI's quarterfinal against Drake was cancelled - due to COVID-related issues within the UNI program.

Drake advances to the semi's - UNI goes home, ending the season at 10-15; 7-11 in conference.

I'm surprised that UNI is at #3 after their opening week loss at home to the jackrabbits. They rebounded with a win at Youngstown State last week - but still I thought that first loss would put them in the 8-10 range.
