Re: Have You Ever Thought That Matt Austin Could Be a Flop?
Austin was a very good Juco WR...and his highlight reel shows off his amazing athleticism and receiving skills. He has been incredibly unlucky with injuries so far, but I don't think he's even close to a flop right now.

Re: Interesting post over on the MWC Board
Interesting tidbit on the WAC Scout board... Hawaii forced MWC to show their hand early Hawaii’s lack of patience/pro-active persistence has forced the MWC to do something it did not want to; show its cards early. In anticipation of losing TCU, the MWC has been contemplating how they will try and su...

Re: After the Teleconference-Is there going to be sports at
All I got from the teleconference is that the WAC's autobid for basketball is NOT in jeopardy, and that if Hawaii leaves we with try like hell to get North Texas to come in order to keep us at 8 for football. While the WAC isn't in good shape, it didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know...

Interesting post over on the MWC Board
With the rumors about Hawaii and TCU from last week, I thought all you diehard MWC fans might appreciate an update from behind the doors of the MWC offices. First: Hawaii does NOT have an official invite. In fact, their stunt with the press conference to announce that they were talking ticked off e...

Re: How excited are you for Georgetown?
I'm pretty excited, but right now I'm focused on the Utah game. The Utes are 3-0 for the first time in 5 years and I'm slightly nervous about that game, especially in light of their 15-point win over Weber State. If we win both games this week, then I'll really start to get excited about the George...

Re: So... Push it, or Bullsh*t?
Just a question, when someone says "crap" or "shoot" in the same context, isn't it just a substitute for the word "sh*t", and actually therefore just as bad considering it has the same meaning? They are words, and to be honest I think it's a tad ridiculous that people get all up in arms over a bunch...

Sucks to come out with the L but...
I definitely think we are a better TEAM than BYU this season (who will still somehow win 28+ games), just wish we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot at the charity stripe. Their offense consists of standing around while Jimmer figures out whether he wants to chuck up a 3, drive to the hoop, or drive ...

What do you think the line would be if we had a healthy Bendall and Pooh? Surely the oddsmakers know about Bendall being out, but I guess they might not know Pooh is questionable. I'd say the line would be closer to 3

You know what I liked the most about Grim in this game? How physical he was. I'm not sure if it was just the way that Boylen was using him at Utah, but he always came off as soft to me. Brockeith Pane is a stud...still needs a little work on getting in sync with everyone else, knowing when to pass/when to shoot, but once he gets more comfortable out there he will be hard to stop. Utah on the other hand has size, but playing them in Logan should overcome that since they have so many other chinks. First of all, I didn't know the "c" word was still acceptable in polite society. Secondly, I had no idea Utah is following our lead and recruiting in Asia. http://i18.photobucket.co...

How many USU fans usually are at the Mariott Center?
I'm just wondering because I heard that "The Hurd" bought about 200-250 tickets for it that will go on sale Monday here on campus, which includes a bus ride down. if we win both and drop 2 wac games, which i think is easily doable this year in the wac, I could see us getting an 8 seed. 7 if we get a good bracketbuster and win. i think if we go undefeated, we still only get a 6ish seed, if that. If we went undefeated, we would get a 3 seed at worst IMO. Any t...

I initially agreed that having Jardine in the starting lineup over Bendall would actually make us a better team, and that losing Bendall wouldn't hurt us TOO much overall...but the more I see Grim/Formisano play, the more I am really worried about what our backup big play will be like. Agreed. I just am not that impressed by Grim at all...very worried about our depth at the 4/5 this season. With a healthy Bendall, no one really needed to play outside him, Tai and Brady...now we need Tai and Brady to play 30+ mins a game, and foul trouble will really kill us. Heck even Ben Clifford...

We'll hit the magic 23-win mark, like we always do. However, without Nate, we'll be hard-pressed to get more than 25-26 W's, imo. Really? Rivals NCAA tournament predictions
They have us as a #10 seed, and they also have the WAC getting 2 teams in (they have NMSU as one of the 6 #12 seeds)
I think that is realistic, but I can also see us getting a #5/#6/#7 seed this year.
