Re: Queta?

I've watched him jump off the bench and give players piggy backs after put back dunks. I'm beginning to give credence to the "spring semester didn't make grades" theory and that he'll be back after finals week as strong as ever.

So what I'm reading is that Sam needs to go Brock Miller and up his 3 pt shots per game

Re: My favorite wins in Utah State history.

Another memorable game was the beat down of top 10 Utah when the had Andrew Bogut and we beat them 71-45...finishing the game on a 33-11 run. But this LSU game was special just because of the fight and preserving our ranking without Queta.

Considering we have only 1 tournament win in the past 49 seasons, my fan bone will be utterly tickled to win a first round game. We go to the Final 4? I don't know that I could handle so much tickling... I would assuredly wet myself.

Protip: Buy the child ticket for $25. Also, bring your thermos mug full of hot cocoa and slide it under the fence in the trees before you enter and then retrieve it on the other side.

Re: Boise State Ticket Prices

Maybe it's a good idea to price out the Boise State fans who usually fill up our stadium at the lower prices because they are more committed to their program than we are. At least this way there are fewer Boise fans so it's closer to a home field advantage for USU.

USUstats.com

If I'm reading the update log correctly, the USUstats.com website hasn't been updated yet this season. That would leave Sam Merrill 11 points behind Jalen Moore for 9th all-time, which we can expect him to surpass this evening. Go Sam! Also, thanks to USUstats.com, it is one of my favorite reference...

Re: Without question, if queta doesn’t start playing this week

I was kinda hoping to see him get some bench minutes as early as today. But I'm leaning towards the worried about him not returning this season because of the hush hush timeline. Today for me is a tell on where is actual status is for the reasons mentioned, if he really is close to returning you'd w...

Someone explain to me why at the end of the first half we call a timeout at :15 going in to a 4th down FG situation, rather than running the clock down to :02 to end the half on the FG?

I listen to that interview and come away wondering whether it's plausible - seriously - to win an NCAA Tournament title at USU. With Smith as our HC, I think it might be.
If that were to happen we'd have no choice but to rename the Spectrum after him.

There were a lot of empty seats for a top 20 team playing against an in-state rival from less than an hours drive away.
Agreed, however, we were competing with 2 valley high schools hosting quarterfinal football games and the Globetrotters at Ridgeline high school.

High School sports are becoming cut throat, letting a guy go after just one season at 4-8. Opening the door for Mike Favero, the best high school football coach the valley has ever seen?

Usually when the Aggies lose in the Spectrum it takes a 30+ point stand out performance by an opponent. This had all the makings of one of those rare home losses so credit to the Aggies to fight that pressure off and pull out the win.

College basketball games, last night in particular, are way over officiated anymore. Neither team was allowed to play defense. It's frustrating to go to a game only to watch a free throw shooting contest.
