Doesn't EJ's family live in San Jose? EJ's uncle Raymond Farris played football for the aggies and has gone on to be a high profile trainer of professional athletes in the Bay area. I met him about ten years while he was working out Jerry Rice on the Stanford campus and he mentioned he fond memorie...

Used to love the wrestling matches at USU. It wasn't eliminated wasn't because of fan support but rather Gender Equity. So if you reastablished wrestling with 20 scholarships you would have to fund another womens sport with twenty scholarships, plus travel expenses, coaching salaries ect. All of a s...

Re: USU Athletics Makes Improvements
When was the turf install 2002? That would make it 8 or 9 years old.
I think the manufactures sell may promote it as having a 18 year life but
what I have read is 10 years is about the norm. Unless it is blue and
then you have to replace it every other year.

The turf in the stadium is nearing the end of its life. The seams are deterorating
and I would guess it only has two or three years of life left in it. At that time we will finally
get the endzones replaced

Our average line size must be increasing by 15lbs with these recruits and Evan coming in.

I would imagine that none of the scouting services gave any of
these players more than 3 stars coming out of high school. It
goes to show that their are good players out there if the coaches
do their homework and beat the bushes to find them

I looked at the crowd last night and thought it should have been listed as a sellout. Yes their were a few single seats that went unfilled, but I also saw students sitting in seats outside of the student section where season ticket holders did not show. I believe that there were more students in att...

Steve spent two years coaching quarterbacks at buffalo. While his son
would be a longshot there have been a number of coaches sons that have
done well for themselves. Kellen Moore and Ty Detmer are a couple that
come to mind.

Good work Craig thanks for the updates. Any word on the others?
I would assume they will take their other two visits before making their decision.
The 100 meter time for Harold would have put him in the top 10 of the Wac in track last
year. Looks like he has serious speed.

I saw a blog entry from one of their mission campanions.
He said I have a new companion that is no Wimpey missionary and then
went on to say that he had brought a full set of weights
with him on his mission. That would be one heavy backpack.

Ok Jeff here is your test
Who made the first shot
who made the last shot
How many turnovers
what was our record after the game
what kind of shoes did the aggies wear that year.
If I could remember only a fraction of what you can my head would explode

I bellieve Morrison has not used his redshirt year so he should be able to use that instead of a medical redshirt if his
foot heals and he can play. While turbin would get a medical redshirt for 2007 he would then use his redshirt for 2010.

Re: Question about the Hawaii game.
The difference between a veteran team and a young team is how they can hold and bump without getting a foul called. Towards the end of the game a hawaii player was called for holding Wesley on a rebound. My guess is that Ty probably felt the Hold and then locked up with the Hawaii players arm so the...

if I was Bensen I would sign the wac up as the first conference member. Maybe you would have
have a play-in game between the wac vs sunbelt or Mac to be one of the 16 teams. Play it up
to be a touney to determine the national champion with or without the bsc schools.
