Re: 5,500 fans at home games
Hah 10 points! Tier two suckahs! My 7 points don't take into account that I'm a alumnus and former athlete. Oh well, gonna have to take what I can get, even if that is nothing and watching it on my sofa. You used to get credit for being a former USU athlete. Is that no longer the case? It's still t...

Re: What is the best comeback in USU basketball history?
CDAAG. I think the game you are thinking of was when we were playing BYU in the Spectrum. We had Greg Grant my cousin in his senior year. We were down by 1 with 10 seconds. The y had the ball. They had Averon Parrish from Logan high, a traitor. In the USU timeout Greg didn’t like the defense called...

So true. I've rewatched that 3-game series many times. Never gets old!pilotaggie wrote: ↑October 6th, 2020, 3:11 pmI said it back after the tournament those 3 days are as good as we will ever see. I'm sure a single game will be better here and there but that was an untouchable tournament.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
That is surprising to me...at least we don't have to worry about travelling to away games this season. I hope we can hang in there and have at least the 5500. Does anyone know if that includes the premium seating...club seats and suites? I know that some of the suites leased by business are not goin...

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
I don't understand the over sensitivity to sarcasm. In most cases (and I believe that to be the case in Quacks comment), jokes are said with the intent of lighthearted fun, and if people can loosen up, they might find more joy in life by being able to laugh occasionally instead of looking for new w...

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
Im thinking priority should be: 1. Player families 2. Recruits 2. Students 3. Season ticket holders 4. University Employees 5. General Public 5500 definitely isnt much to go around. Not a bad list BUT because of the MORONIC decision to extend the recruiting dead period until January 1st of 2021, we...

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
My wife and I are in our late 60's, and we don't handle the cold games very well. I wonder if they will let some of us defer our season tickets (that have been paid) towards next year's season? I'd be happy to have the young bucks fill the stadium first even though we've been season ticket holders ...

It looked like he was hit as he was releasing that ball. But two deep on that side and a long ball is not good odds. Henry's a great guy though; I hope he gets a lot more playing time.

Re: Player opt out at USU not allowed?
That is a strange stance...sounds like Sith language...If you opt out, you're not with us....Anakin: " If you're not with me, you're my enemy." Only a Sith would think in absolutes! I don't get how that can be a policy though. Seems very odd to me. Re-reading it, he says "If you opt out, you're not ...

If we can generate pressure up front on D, and have the D line eat enough blocks, I think our defense should do well. We'll see though. The D line still looks thin to me. Hated seeing Anderson opt out.

Sounds like they are looking at 25% capacity or so. Suites will be available to suite holders who want to utilize their tickets. Per my AD "handler."

Re: is our first game against Boise State?
Didn't Hartwell mention in a recent interview that they were talking about trying to front-load the colder weather games? So Logan, Laramie, etc. games would be played earlier in the schedule. I'm not sure I want to see 4 straight home games, but I thought I heard him mention that.

Hartwell mentioned that this has made a mess of contracts, so it's all up in the air how the non-conference games will net out. I'm more than fine not playing those clowns this year.

I'm hating not having football, but I wouldn't want to see a piece-meal schedule. That’s fair. I would be happy with any type of schedule. But that is just me. It's probably because I don't understand the whole eligibility, who will leave and who will be back scenarios. I wouldn't want our guys was...

I am very proud of the boys & Coach A for initiating this. As far as “preferring it over looting & pillaging”, not necessarily a bad comment but maybe not completely appropriate for the moment. Maybe something a little more like “Im glad our boys chose to educate themselves as well as others on thi...

One of the primary changes we need is to sell out our arena. It's hard for me to see an arena with more seats than we have when we rarely have sellouts, even with a championship team. Same issue with football. Ugh.
