Re: Coaching Candidates
I think that making the right hire may cause instability in the short term. To me, that is part of the process of getting the right person. In my opinion, that person may need to shake things up to get the program moving in the right direction.

So if you have season tickets, you can use those funds to buy single game tickets unless they give you a season package.

Sounds like they are going to sell mostly single-game tickets. Capacity at about 1700 people. Masks required, of course.

Frank addressed that in the press conference also (may have been the post-game), that the blame isn't always on the OLine. He pointed to the QB and the decision-making, getting the ball out, etc.

Re: Who should start at QB vs wyo
Legas is a winner. I hope it translates to college football. But if the team truly did prefer him to Shelley, I feel that's good enough, as Cooper will be in a much better leadership position.

Re: Big announcement coming tomorrow (or this week)?
I hope someone tells Maile that he is no longer on the team, otherwise he might try to put Shelley in as the starter against Wyoming. It was obvious to everyone except Maile that he shouldn’t have played against Fresno State, but he did it anyway, so being off the team might not stop him from namin...

Re: New COVID restrictions
I found it odd last night to hear that Gov. Herbert was exempting collegiate athletics, etc. Not my call; but why not just restrict everything if things are this bad, which they clearly are? He said that college athletic conferences already have COViD protocols in place for the players. The fans ar...

I really don't know. Doesn't seem like much of anything has worked well. I just wear my mask when I go out and try to limit the whole going out part. That's just what I choose to do. I just thought that in the context of what Gov. Herbert was saying, it seems odd that he exempted these other large g...

Re: Worst offensive play calling in nation...
Well. All subjective. But watching body language at the game last night, to me the receivers ran their routes better with Peasley on the field. Seemed to be a little more pop in the way they ran their routes. And with the expectation of a ball coming their way. And with more depth to their routes. ...

No wonder we aren't doing well, since he and I both know so little about scheme and talent. Yup, that's the same thing. A fan that doesn't watch practices, hasn't be...

That's a shame. I can't see this season playing out well...what is the harm in seeing what Legas can do at QB? We need some type of spark on offense. Of course, if play-calling doesn't improve, what's the point. Watching that game on Saturday, I thought we were back in some other era, Leon Jackson o...

Jordan has to be more of our offense. Among many other changes we are all pining for.

I've noticed that also. I was hoping we would have hired Jay Hill last time around. I guess we'll see, but Gary looks and sounds uninspiring. Not his job, I suppose, but just my perception.

Re: Two breaks we caught, or it would have been a lot worse
It's bizarre that anyone could think that Jordan has a problem catching punts based on one punt. I don't know what the stats are, but I can't recall an issue prior to Saturday. He's done a fabulous job. Except for the time he muffed one in the bowl game which set Kent State up for an easy touchdown...
