Just doing some checking. Not sure if these are the last in the two categories, but I did find this: Rulon Jones scored a safety in a playoff game against New England in January 1987. Jim Turner kicked a field goal and an extra point for the Denver Broncos in their loss to the Cowboys in Super Bowl ...

Should be 2022 season based on the MWC rotation.

The game at UCONN is at the end of September. I have always wanted to visit the northeast during the fall to see the fall colors. I like the UConn games. It will be USU's second trip to Connecticut to play the Huskies. The Aggies defeated the Huskies 38-31 in Storrs back in 2001, when UConn was making the transition to D1A/FBS. I am amazed a how far UConn has fallen over the past ten years. They were on the verge of becoming r...

What would that do? Harsin is the only Boise State coach USU has won against in the past 21 years. Dan Hawkins was undefeated against USU, and so was Chris Petersen. Changing coaches does not seem to dampen their success.

CSU gets a lot of benefit of the doubt. They won ten games in 2014, after eleven seasons of relative mediocrity, and then they slip right back into five more seasons of mediocrity, yet they are constantly treated as a one of the G5 gems. Meanwhile USU has had as many ten plus win seasons in the past...

ESPN does not list the Arizona Bowl on its bowl game calendar. It does list other non-ESPN games, but the Arizona Bowl is not listed. I would be happy with either the Arizona Bowl or the Potato Bowl because of their timing being after Christmas. Teams are allowed up to 15 extra practices if they go ...

There are very few programs that can win 8+ games year in and year out. When you look at the programs that are unable to do so, it becomes even more apparent. But seriously, there are probably only a dozen or so programs in the country where winning at least eight games per year is automatic, one of...

I do not think we should count this year against Sanford. There was a decision to run last year's offense in an effort to help Love. Clearly that has not worked as this team was significantly lesser along the lines and in the WR corps. I think we will see a different offense next year and will withh...

I think a lot of this season was about keeping things similar for Jordan Love. We tried running the same offense as last year with a far lesser supporting cast, which put far more pressure on the defense. It is hard to say, but I have to wonder how the season would have looked had the offensive staf...

I hope the offense slows down a bit. It was great last year when we had a stronger O-line and better play makers at WR. I am no expert, but I do think slowing it down a bit will allow Love a few more seconds to scan the defense and be in a better position to process what they are doing. I think this...

I don't mind the evening games, but in an ideal world they should be kept to the first two home games of the year.
