Utah State gets some love in ESPN's The Best of the West

http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/17740/video-the-best-of-the-west Diamond Leung seems to cover Utah State fairly often, and around halfway through the video he gives us a little love. Not much, but thought it was good to at least get some recognition as one of the best in th...

Wasn't this from like 2 weeks ago? Where do you see that it's final?

Re: How Many Games Will We Win?

I initially agreed that having Jardine in the starting lineup over Bendall would actually make us a better team, and that losing Bendall wouldn't hurt us TOO much overall...but the more I see Grim/Formisano play, the more I am really worried about what our backup big play will be like. Our starting ...

Re: I'm worried about our bigs

Agreed. I just am not that impressed by Grim at all...very worried about our depth at the 4/5 this season. With a healthy Bendall, no one really needed to play outside him, Tai and Brady...now we need Tai and Brady to play 30+ mins a game, and foul trouble will really kill us. Heck even Ben Clifford...

Re: How Many Games Will We Win?

We'll hit the magic 23-win mark, like we always do. However, without Nate, we'll be hard-pressed to get more than 25-26 W's, imo. Really? For those of you predicting < 25-26 wins...who do we lose to in your eyes? BYU, Georgetown, @Nev/Boise, @NMSU, Bracketbuster, and lose in in the WAC tourney? Tha...

Re: Point Guard Minutes

However, as a Freshman that talent is still fairly raw. Don't forget that Carroll was the Big West Tournament MVP as a freshman. Might take Walker several games to find his stride, but let's hope he can become a major contributor as the season progresses -- hopefully sooner rather than later. Playi...

Rivals NCAA tournament predictions

They have us as a #10 seed, and they also have the WAC getting 2 teams in (they have NMSU as one of the 6 #12 seeds)

I think that is realistic, but I can also see us getting a #5/#6/#7 seed this year.

Brady's time to shine

The loss of Bendall will be huge, there are no if's, and's, or but's about it. If anything, I think he should literally not do any physical activity or do anything on his feet besides walk in the boot until after conference play starts, maybe even until sometime in January, at that point try to put ...

Re: Point Guard Minutes

Pane should get 25+ minutes per game, so I think Walker won't get much more than 15 per game barring foul trouble, unless Stew gives him a few minutes on the wing.
