Re: As poorly as the coaching staff is handling this season

I didnt think the OL was to blame tonight. Love had tons of time but just couldn't find anyone or refused to check down when we could have had 10 yard gains all night long. Instead he held on to the ball and tried to force it deep instead of taking what they are giving. We have been very poor at ta...

Re: As poorly as the coaching staff is handling this season

Good post and those position groups have held us back as predicted but do we have a position group that has surpassed or even met expectations? DL has been pushed around 2 straight weeks. RBs are just ok. Love has been awful. LBs probably until tonight? I’ve heard people that have been in the Ath D...

Re: Embarrassments

It never works when you take the ex back. I wasn't excited at all when GA was hired. This is just me being honest. He won't elevate the program. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk Sure but I don't mind us giving Gary one last shot here. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Not the end o...

As poorly as the coaching staff is handling this season

<t>It was no secret coming into the season that our biggest question marks were at OL and in the secondary, and that was before we got hit by injuries. The cupboard was barren at both spots, there was no depth at either, and I don't think very many teams or coaches in the country could do anything w...

Re: Imagine this lineup:

The thing that excites me most about this team is the depth and interchangeability between multiple positions...endless options for mismatches and adjustments. We go 11 deep that I feel confident would be good even as starters most years. Yep, the versatility of this roster will be huge as will our...

Re: Roster updated on team site

Porter shows as a junior when I just checked. Is grootfaam really a senior or is he going to get a year back somehow? Grootfaam lost his appeal. He got the same treatment Alex Dargenton received. There is a pending appeal to try and get a year back for Alphonso Anderson. If he wins, he'll be a soph...

If LSU opens less than 20 I'm going to put a pretty penny on it before it moves up.

Id love to be wrong but I don't see how it's not a 49-21 type game

Re: Utah State at -33 seems like easy money

Line movement was weird on this one. I ended up laying -28.5 for a max play before it moved back up to 32-33, even though Stony Brook is solid for an FCS it's obvious that teams cannot handle the combination of altitude and our up tempo play style. We are going to gas a team like that every time, th...

Re: WTF - 3rd and 4 with 2:30 left

We have one of the best QBs in the nation and need 4 yards to essentially win the game and they decided to take it out of Loves hands and play conservative with the run right up the middle for the 3rd straight play. Players make plays right!?!? Let Love make a freaking play to win the game!!! You d...

Re: That is on gary!

Not the last series but the one before, ran Warren first 2 plays, then ran him again when everyone at the game and watching on tv knew he was carrying again. He did that earlier too when they were backed up. Warren is a great runner but not when everyone knows he is carrying,Clawson out coached him...

Secondary needs a lot of work, but we are basically a top 25 caliber team outside of that. If we ever shore it up we will be fine, otherwise going to lose some games we should have won like tonight

Keegan Duncan from Boise, this one really surprised me. Matt tried recruiting him pretty heavy. Him and Scotty g come from Declo Idaho. Then hirkley Latu from BYU . I believe Gary recruited him out of hs at Oregon st. Source?? Source for what? Do you think they're not transferring or something? The...

Re: What games do we win this year?

We will be favored in every game except Wake, LSU and @fresno, with SDSU and Boise being close to pickem. Think we beat Wake, split the other 2 and drop one game somewhere else in a beat case scenario, so 10-2 would be a realistic absolute ceiling. I'd say 11-1 but with so many toss up/tough games i...

But tbh there is so much upside and this is enormous going into play Wake. But there is something strange going on. He wanted to go, then he didn’t, now he’s transferring? I don’t know what is going on in his life so I won’t judge to conclusions. I just hope he is committed. Probably had to pass su...

Re: Wake Forest is no pushover

Anyone else think the under (63) is a good bet? Was debating putting money on us +3.5 but the under might be an even better bet. Or might do 1st half under since it might take some time for our o line to gel and their D might get tired

Re: Preseason ESPN Bracketology

I hope we work on how to attack a zone. While I agree we'd have to improve against the zone if we played them again, Thybulle was a generational defensive player and would have given a lot of teams fits that day offensively. UNC matched up really well against them athletically We need to make sure ...

Highly doubt he'd leave for Washington State, he can play his cards into a much better gig in the Big 10, ACC or Big 12 eventually My money is he will be Big 10 bound since he's a midwest guy. Tough to say no to 3-4x the money anywhere though. Same, and my hope is that he is fine sticking around un...

Yeah. Guys like Shaw should never get a second chance and a degree. Berger should have just gone to BYU WHERE everyon...

Berger's dad felt that Danny should be the face of the program and that USU owed him more. When he didn't get it he left and tried to get everyone to leave with him. I know Jordan Stone followed him and others may have as well. Kyle Davis was definitely toxic as well. Is this the full story? I had ...

He should have never left in the first place. I wonder if he had a time machine and could go back and do it again if he would have just made USU his home until retirement. Wells had his ups and downs and ultimately left the program in great shape, but I wonder if we would have had the decline we ex...
