Re: Future of USU Football
Hey '22 Not trying to be a smart (I can't express myself without swearing) here but a couple your posts there seem to contradict others. One post you agree that the defense lacked speed, quickness and technique and in another post you say that "no one will be able to convince me that this team lacke...

And just like that, New Mexico has hired alum Danny Gonzales, the DC from Arizona State https://twitter.com/PeteThamel/status/1207032999554043905?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet Jay Hill may have interviewed, but him being the lead candidate was probably floated by New Mexico ...

1.5 million per year one of the better paid coaches in G5.
If they ever hire the right coach, look out.

Can we just not play the game because if we lose damn near the entire fan base does in to a depression spiral for the rest of the season.

Re: NAR: Chris Petersen steps down
I think this "administrative role working with leadership development for coaches and players" sounds exactly like something that GA is suited for and would perhaps fill his need/desire to be around the program? Then Hartwell could hire an energetic coach looking for an opportunity to make his name...

Yep the team didn't quit, unlike a bunch of the fans. I had a work function, so missed Chat tonight, but sat down to watch the game on the DVR as soon as I got home. Watched it start to finish. Amazing. But missing out on Chat makes me wonder how many fans were ready to give up down 17 in the first...

It was really disturbing to watch chat. We are every bit as negative as the A hole cougar fans. Really bothered me! I get the emotion, but it was sickening. I have to learn to not look at Chat. It really does get frustrating. The entire season was over and we had no chance of ever bouncing back fro...

The bag screeners have instructions to ignore food or snack items. This is an industry standard and a best practice, not an attempt to get you to buy a Bahama Mama. If you take your business elsewhere, they'll have a clear bag policy too, and you'll have to wear Ute red or BYU blue. Nobody likes it...

After a USU game on the west side somebody threw an apple from up towards the top of the west side, it sailed over my head and hit an old man in the jaw. Re: Without question, if queta doesn’t start playing this week
Have you watched those 3 teams play? LSU is good but 6 deep and no bench production. They will be tough. Florida is very underwhelming so far, they may put it together by the time we play them but today we would win by double digits on a neutral. St Mary's is good and will be a tough road game, tha...

Re: Without question, if queta doesn’t start playing this week
Queta not playing tonight likely means he will not play (if he plays this season at all) until the conference season opens. It is just not possible that he will simply parachute into games against LSU, Florida or St. Mary’s without any preparatory time. We should best resign ourselves to that fact....

The young man as a 3 star player is a little below what Utah has this season they start 3 soph. and 2 freshman all are 4 star recruits. Playing on the big stage is a little hard to recruit against. The stage had very little to do with it. Playing in the Pac-12 had very little to do with it ? I wond...

The thing that I don't understand is that even in the Duryea doldrums, if the 17th ranked team were to play USU in the spectrum there would be a nice crowd regardless of the time of year.

I see. They have quit on him now. I just thought you all were projecting your negativity and insane expectations to be 8-0 right now with a revamped offensive unit. If you want to have an experience with less frills at a lower cost, go elsewhere, but don’t act as if buying the cheap seats entitles you to the amenities of the new part of the stadium unless you’re going to pony up or at minimum invest the time to walk to the west side . If that is an invitation ...

You understand that building a brand requires revenue right ? If USU fans spent $5 million more on tickets and donations, needed a 30,000 plus seat stadium, did not schedule built in losses, then maybe if you are lucky you just might beat a P-5 school. BSU has a home game with Florida state. Money ...
