Thanks, Tania. I thought he was already gone so I didn't think of him. That is good news. Things didnt work out at the Florida school he entered into he portal for, so, we’ll see. Unless a school close to home offers him, he may find his way back Is #16 "recruiting" these guys to come back? #16 is ...

Re: Plane with new Coach A has a 30 minute layover?

It must have been some other reason to divert to Ogden. Reported weather at Logan was fine then - 6 miles of visibility with a few clouds at 2,500 feet and broken layer at 4,000 feet. Logan airport is (I can't express myself without swearing), any bad weather will cause planes to divert to Ogden. I...

Re: Blake Anderson??

I'd like to see Maile stay as AHC if he's willing and maybe Collins could be special teams and position coach as well as Bojay and DJ staying on staff. I think the most important hire will be Defensive Coordinator as Anderson seems to be more involved on the offensive side of the ball. Maybe Yost w...

I think I'm one of the few that feels this way, but I think the old formula's that proved successful might not apply anymore. Re: Arkansas State @ Utah State in 2006

Does anyone else remember the ASU-USU game in Logan on 2016? The Aggies took a 24-0 lead less than one minute into the second quarter. The Aggies didn’t look good at all and held on to win 34-20. The main thing I remember from that game was thinking that ASU looked as bad as any FBS team I have see...

Well I guess that is the difference I do not think the apology has anything to do with the 9 in a row YBU has beaten USU in basketball. I just think that is a excuse for losing. I was once told the God favored YBU , perhaps that is the problem. I believe that about as much as I believe the curse. T...

If Jay Hill ends up being the guy, he certainly could have been hired a while ago. Other coaches have been hired before the end of the season, not just before the bowl game. Butch Davis was hired by North Carolina after they fired their coach several years back. The interim coach remained and coach...

Re: List your top 5 candidates

Remember that Anderson and Wells were the first coaches who had the advantage of having great state of the art facilities. That makes a big difference in recruiting. I wonder how someone like Weatherby would have done with that advantage. Another advantage is the upgrade in conference affiliation. ...

Anybody have an over/under on the number of losses until we have a Craig Smith only won because of Sam Merrill post? I love Craig. One thing Craig could be a lot better at is using timeouts. My beef was when the refs stop calling fouls on VCU for a long period of time starting in the 1st half. We made VCU commit so many fouls in reality that VCU should have had their coaching staff ready to suit up. Refs wanted VCU to win, and they got their wish. Any proof on this or is it just crybab...

So Canales has been the Utep Offensive Coordinator for the past 3 seasons. In 2018, Utep went 1-11 and had the 127th ranked scoring offense in the country. In 2019 they went 1-11 and Utep had the 119th ranked scoring offense in the country. This year they are a little better at 3-4, but have the 11...

A good HC will have good coordinators and assistants AND let them do their job. Technically the O & D coordinators should be the experience one...
