Re: Zahar Vedishev
Awww man, my kids and I would look forward to him going in for some garbage time and guessing how many 3’s he could launch in limited minutes. In all seriousness, I hate to see any Aggie career end like this. I don’t much blame him for leaving though. As the season wore on the less chance I saw of h...

Re: MW Player of the Week - Queta
It is a two man race for player of the year at his point. Who is the other one you are thinking of in the league? I’m not sure who he is referencing, but I’d assume Alston from Boise. That being said, Grant Sherfield from Nevada is having a heckuva year. He may not win POY assuming Nevada finishes ...

Re: Summarizing the new transfers / recruits
I think a nice stretch goal is 6 wins and a bowl game. We should be able to go 2-2 at a minimum in our non-conference games as I don’t see us losing to either North Dakota or NMSU. Going 4-4 in league games won’t be easy but doable. May depend on which games are at home and which are away.

Re: 2021/2022 Recruits
The Finlinson kid seems to have that good combination of length, skill, shooting, play making ability, and confidence/swagger. A mission would do him well to mature his frame more. I prefer him over the Cali kid tbh.

Considering CSU is also playing 4 games in 7 days, and all of theirs are on the road, I think they are at the greater disadvantage. We haven’t had to travel at all. We should be happy with this scenario not worried.

Wasn’t Tyler Newbold from Zoobieland somewhere? I think his dad was like the PA announcer for BYU football or something like that although I believe his parents were both USU grads. I may have my story mixed up but I will say it is difficult to find a more true blooded Aggie than Tyler.

Csu is very good. I am interested in how they try to negate queta. Queta should have a hay day on this team with offense. I wonder if on offense csu will try to have 5 shooters and play small to keep queta away from the rim. It’s a double edged sword. If they do go small, Queta will eat them alive ...

I reflect back to the Duryea days and how we lost games because we couldn't rebound. We had some decently talented teams but it was so frustrating to get out-rebounded night in and night out. I remember Duryea being frustrated with it and at a loss of how to fix it other than to talk about it more. ...

Re: SDSU/BSU to the AAC?
I don't see San Diego State moving to AAC in football only. They're more of a basketball school than football school, and basketball would suffer being in the Big West or WAC. WCC is a non-option because they only take private schools. Unless the AAC's going to take them in all sports, I don't see ...

Sheesh, that Gomez kid was of fire there in the first half. I figured he’d eventually cool down a bit but then Shakel got going. Had me worried, especially after Neemi got fouled out. Lots has been said about Ashworth and Miller but Fonz has been a big contributor as well. Great and gutsy team win.

Who was at the game? Was the crowd a big factor? Mitchell mentioned in the pregame that they weren't worried about the environment, but on TV it didn't sound too bad. I was there and though it was only ~1500 or so, the Spectrum acoustics do a good job of making the few sound much bigger than they a...

I’m not sure why these guys want to leave. I’d think playing OL in BA’s scheme would be a lot of fun. Seeing the transfers and recruits we are bringing in, the rebuild may be shorter than we think. Stick around and be an almost certain starter in an aggressive offense with a coach that will run thro...

It’s hard to beat live hockey. Some sports are just way fun to watch in person and hockey is one of them, especially in a small intimate venue. If these coaches can create a winning program here, build their reputation, have solid/healthy environment then Utah kids will want to come and play for them. They will be able to get a few of the top tear Utah kids. If you build it they will come. When you say top tier, what is your vision of "top...

Interesting that Hamilton is so high. Do you get rewarded for volume of shots taken? That guy hasn't seen a shot he doesn't like! SDSU put away the Pack 65-60 at home in the closing minute but taking a charge and then hitting free throws. Nevada gave them all they could handle. SDSU, BSU, USU, CSU. And I’m not 100% sold on including CSU in the group. No one else is a contender. I’ve seen enough, and am stopping the count. Thanks 22! I like hearing about his speed and his lock-down cover capability. It seems like too many times we run into a team like Nevada this year who has one receiver like Romeo Doubs that just takes us to town and we can't cover. Having a CB that can help negate that star receiver would be huge. ...
