Wednesday's game starts at 8pm (mtn) but what time does Friday's game start? USUfans and USU athletics website both say 7:00PM but ESPN and Fox Sports says 9:00PM.

Re: Jeff Grimes is the new OC at Baylor

Hans said on 1280 that A-Rod was the one who called the plays and that Grimes was OC in title only. That most people knew A-Rod called the plays Grimes was always down on the sidelines. Was A-Rod up in the box? I believe you but I’m not sure why Baylor would want to hire him if he never called play...

Great get! Excited for this commit. Maybe his mom (aka mUTha hustla) can help us hustle some more great recruits too!

Re: Jeff Grimes is the new OC at Baylor

Didn't Roderick's offense at Utah struggle? I think that’s a fair question. I will say that if you talk to Zach Wilson he raves about what Roderick has done for his game. I think I’ve heard him gush over Roderick more than he’s mentioned Grimes, which would make sense seeing as A-Rod was his positi...

I also notice Kansas has had a lot of guys enter the portal, especially in the secondary. One is a safety Davon Ferguson that’s been a productive player for a couple years for them. He opted out after the 4th game this season. Maybe Mayberry could be a positive influence on him for USU. Tons of rece...

I would say that my other school Drake is way under valued in these rankings. They are 10-0. I’m headed to the Drake game tonight with my kids. Lucked out and got some general admission tickets. Should be a great game as they are playing a decent 7-2 Southern Illinois team....although Drake handed ...

Re: NET rankings released

We gotta find a way to elevate SJSU. They really hurt our conference rankings. USU didn't do the conference any favors losing to VCU, BYU and South Dakota. None of USU’s losses are considered bad losses. VCU is sitting at the top of the A-10, SDSU is in top two of The Summit with some nice wins, an...

What order would you rank position of need from the Transfer Portal?

After some new recruits and some time to think on this I'd rank my current opinion on positions of need as this: 1. LB 2. DL 3. Safety 4. WR 5. OL ------------- (big drop off in need IMO) 6. RB 7. Corner 8. TE 9. QB (Mainly because we're not bringing in an another transfer QB) I feel this is very r...

Didn’t we just sign/resign a group of Poly RM’s in this last class? I think they all have a chance of being contributors. They had some nice pieces with Maldonado, Marble, Thompson, and Foster but they’ve had some other players step up. Personally I like being part of the top football league because I think as soon as the P5 separates from the G5, or vice versa, the G5 basically then just becomes FCS A. Too bad UTEP stinks so bad. They are in our regional footprint as they are located west of Laramie, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs. They also host a bowl game that we could possibly get a tie-in.

I guess they aren’t too bad in hoops. They did beat Arizona State a week or two ago.
