Re: Biggest Need Next Year?

I would 100% say we need new talent in the secondary. Hopefully Shaq and Ingram come back strong.

Replacing Tarver and Greene is going to be huge. Anyone know how Heckstall is? I hoped to see more of him this season, as he seemed to be the “heir apparent” to Tarver, as they have similar size

Re: Only playing 2.5 quarters help or hurt?

I think it's a definite concern. We saw a bit of this to some extent against Wyoming. The team isn't used to going balls out for a whole 4 quarters of football. As it became apparent we weren't going to be killing and pulllilng out at halftime, it looked like the guys just didn't have that same kill...

Re: 2018 Redshirt Tracker UPDATED

We've been doing a lot of OL development! We're going to need it, for sure. 4 senior starters that we'll be losing after this season. Things aren't as bleak as they may appear. Keep in mind that over the last two seasons Moroni Iniguez and Demytrick Ali'ifua have played plenty. In fact, Iniguez was...

Thanks, all! That sounds like exactly what my grandpa, dad, brothers, and I are looking to contribute to. MOF it is!

Re: Attendance and Radio

Honestly a huge problem is the increased availability to VIEW games. I have a hard time getting family to drive 2 hours up to Logan to watch the game, when they could watch on tv (or facebook) with commentary, comfort, ability to pause, etc. It gets ESPECIALLY hard in the colder months to pull them ...

Where to donate?

Hey all. Members of my family have been asking how to donate to USU (to the football program specifically).
They haven't been able to locate a link to get donations to the football program.
Can anyone provide me with a link to the best place to do this?

Current Injuries?

Does anyone have updated info on a current list of injuries?
Big one I've been worried about here is Alfred Edwards (I don't think I saw him play at all in the UNLV game).
Anybody know what's up with him?

Re: LES Experience

I had an overall positive experience at LES on Friday. Had some good conversation with some Zoobs around me. Many of them were complimentary of the team (JLove in particular) right from the start. We had some REALLY annoying zoob children behind us who would SCREAM bloody murder at me whenever I sto...

Alfred Edwards

Is it just me, or did Al only play the first offensive series of the game. I don’t think I ever saw him again after that. It was Andrus at LT and Iniguez at LG. Did Edwards get hurt?

Re: Assuming Matt Wells is gone at the end of the year (bye week talk)

I would LOVE to see us take Ilaisa Tuiaki from BYU. He was a big in-state recuiter for us during Gary's time in Logan. He would also help expand our poly pipeline. He's got a wealth of coaching experience from following Gary's infamous tour until he landed as DC with BYU.

Re: Predict the Score - FB 10/5 @ BYU

I'll be at the game, and there is not much better than winning in front of those fans......also not much worse than losing.
For my sanity's sake:

USU: 35
BYPOO: 30

Then I will proceed to laugh, point, and mock as I walk to the parking lot.

Who you got at RB?

Just interested........if you HAD to pick one RB for the Ags (no more running by commitee) who would you go with and why? I think Bright and Darwin have looked capable this year. I'm HIGH on the Dtrain. I think he brings more in the sense of "intangibles", seems to hit holes quicker, seems more agil...

Re: Crowd

That was their own fault for being on the field so long. They couldn’t get stops. Well bless your heart, that’s just not true. Our longest TD drive took I believe just over 2 minutes? And we had a couple drives that took under a minute. That’s just how it’s going to be with a fast paced offense. Di...

He is incapable of staying with receivers. He gets tackles because every team throws his way all game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk YEEESSS!!! Ferguson is HORRIBLE in pass coverage. He’s been the biggest liability this season, and was a big target last year for the same reason. Why don’t we m...

Re: JoJo Natson Return

I get that people don't like JoJo because he broke the law. He broke the law, we kicked him out, and another team picked him up. Tipa broke the law, Castaneda broke the law, they got kicked out....and we picked them up. Happens all the time in college sports. We can't condemn JoJo, but welcome Tipa ...

Re: Game 2 Game Grades: New Mexico State

I think Love's grade was fair- I just dont think it should be expected that he throw for 400 yards when we won in such dominating fashion. Had he had to pass more we may have received those 400 yards. And it's not like my personal opinion on the O-Line would have drastically changed anything. Anyway...

Re: Love....

Holy hell. Did we not put up 60? Yeah, we could have put up 80 had we not settled for FG, but (I can't express myself without swearing) about play calling and offense when we score 60 is just pathetic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yea it was a great win. That doesn’t have to mean our offense ...

Re: Love....

Ya I was really disappointed in the offensive play calling tonight. You can definitely tell we were wanting to establish a run game after the nightmare on the ground last week....but we have to get Love in a rythym. Didn’t even look like the same offense from the MSU game. For Dax Raymond to only ha...

O-Line

Thought we had great production on the o line last night. Was highly impressed with Alfred Edwards at LT. I didn’t notice that Castaneda had been taken out until some point in the 3rd. Aliifua did a tremendous job at RG taking over. What happened with Castaneda? Poor production? Injury? Great to see...

Was the switch made at halftime? Did Castaneda get hurt?

I thought the passing game looked great, and the oline was incredible. It REALLY seems like we are not utilizing Tarver though. Very possible they keyed on him hard from scouting?

Re: Suli T Injured

What ever happened with Justus Te'i? Didn't he start for us at LB in the past?
I would think having Galea'i, Woodward, and Te'i (or Magalei) in would be a solid linebacking core until Suli can get back.
