Re: Why the Wake Loss Is a Big Deal

Main reason I didn't like the GA hire? It's posted many times above in different ways. We're rewarding him with a job for something he did for the school in the past.

That's not how winning organizations operate.

Re: That is on gary!

One play decided the game. 3rd and 4 yards with 2:30 to go. Here were the choices on that play 1. Give Love a chance to win the game. Offense had already scored 35 points so the offense wasn't struggling. Try to convert a 3rd and 4 for a first down that would have won the game by passing the ball. ...

Dallin Leavitt made the final Raiders roster and was called a "core special teamer who plays with a chip on his shoulder" by Raiders GM Mike Mayock

Nevin Lawson starts the season with a 4 game suspension

Re: Love’s Throwing Motion

Love has a beautiful throwing motion He needs to develop his footwork and stop staring at his targeted WR's. Simply looking to the other side of the field before he throws over the middle would make it almost impossible for DB's to intercept. This is where Sanford needs to come in and make Love bett...

Re: Utah State Q&A on the Wake Forest board

Not too much knowledge if you legitimately think you're going to kick our butts in Winston Salem lol That's exactly how I expect WF to feel. East coast media giving you all your news hasn't even seen an Aggie game. The Warriors coach Steve Kerr has spoken about something he calls "appropriate fear....

Re: Wake Forest game

The option WF runs needs to be stopped. I watched their highlights from last year and their QB runs the ball and is a major threat to score. Looks like they set him up for big plays like we did with Myers. This isn't a game where we will be able to blitz. I'd put a spy on their QB, but I'm not sure...

Re: Aggies in the NFL

Kyler Fackrell played quite a bit in GB game v Raiders in Canada. Indicates that Kyler is probably on the bubble because the Packers like the Raiders sat out 30+ players each who have probably already earned spots on the roster .

FB is a game of emotion. Especially in college. It can carry a team. No doubt Gary will have our guys ready.
What makes you so sure of this? At Oregon State he essentially never had his guys ready.

$10 - $15 is the going rate per cup and stop sales at the start of the 4th quarter.

Anyone pack their gun into the stadium? Just asking because I was at an event in Idaho and you could carry anything you wanted inside the stadium, except your gun.

Re: Wake Forest is no pushover

I wish I had a feel for WF as a team. I can comment generally on the Aggies. I think the guys will be jacked up / hyper active like we haven't seen in a long time. Gary will have them ready to explode That will be really good for our defense, but we'll probably make mistakes because of it on offense...

You know what helps bring along a thin LB and DB corps? The deepest, most talented DL we have had in forever (perhaps the 1960's-era Aggies were deeper, but these things are beyond my knowledge). I sat next to him at an Aggie game, seemed like a good dude. A little reserved, but he acted interested in my observations of the game. Didn't let on that he was a coach, but he was decked out in Logan HS gear. Someone sitting nearby told me who he was as we were leaving.

The "players coach" label is a given for GA. It's not something that needed to be pointed out. But keep in mind that the trajectory of a "players coach" may be up in the short term, but it goes down with time. Players need more than rah rah. GA loses control of the players, he said he even lost con...
