Ohio sweeps the Cy Young awards

Bieber in Cleveland and Bauer in Cincy. Both had great years. A tough call for voters, though - lots of good pitching.

Call on the people of the Dine' tribe as well. I know their lands are farther south, but they are part of the heritage.

Gotcha.

Has the schedule been released? I have this feeling USU will get SDSU, BSU, CSU, UNLV, and UNM for our road trip double headers.

Re: Conference back-to-backs?

So we play 10 2-game series? And don't play everyone in the conference? Travel to Reno, play a game Thursday and again on Saturday against the Wolf Pack. Then the next week do the same against Ir Force and so on for 10 different teams?

I found it odd last night to hear that Gov. Herbert was exempting collegiate athletics, etc. Not my call; but why not just restrict everything if things are this bad, which they clearly are? Why not shut the state down? It seems a mask mandate is just an attempt at appeasement. If the problem in Ut...

Re: Passing thought & prediction

I used to hate soccer. Over the years however, I have had kids and grandkids play, and I even coached for a year. So now I don’t hate soccer, I only despise it. I don't go to the level of "hate" or even "despise", I am just indifferent. I just don't get the appeal and I most likely haven't given it...

Re: The FB team no one is talking about

And SJSU did this with their second-string QB. Their starter, Nick Starkel, was injured on the first series of the game for SJSU. He had been putting big numbers in their first two games (nearly 350 ypg, 7 TDs, 1 INT, over 70% completions). Starkel is an interesting story - started at Texas A&M, tra...

So I think it interesting how amazing our quarterbacks are when they sign a loi with us, but either can’t cut it when they have the chance or, not good enough to get the chance. I don’t get it. We have tried two of them so far this year. Shelly hasn’t worked out yet, and Peasley needs more time to ...

Precisely my thoughts! We miss the vigilantes
We miss those type of players on this team....... a lot.

The Vigils, Woodward, Wagner, Fackrell, Filimoeatu, David Gill, Jesse Busta, Doughty, Gallagher, Jake Hutton, etc.

This is obviously a strange year to try and compare stats with some teams having played 7 games already and some teams having played just 1. Given that, here is where USU sits in national rankings for the offense: Points per game: 10 (102 out 0f 103 - UMass got shot out in their only game) Total yar...

Worst receiving group we've had in at least a decade. How are you judging this group, when we haven’t even given them opportunities to prove themselves? When the QB can’t throw an accurate ball past 10 yards, the WR can’t do much. There wasn’t a single pass across the middle that I can recall again...

Re: How did we beat SDSU last year?

The big offensive lineman for SDSU (Trunkle?) would block two Aggies himself on nearly every play. The holes their backs had to run through were huge. I really don't know why they bothered passing the ball. They could have run for 600 yards on us that game. I think the only reason they passed is bec...

Well we played the preseason top 2 teams in the MW to open up the season. At no point did I think we were on Boise or SDSU's level this year, so I'll wait to see how we do against Nevada before judging. This is also a rebuilding year. We are planning for 2021, so I am not going to overreact right n...

I say credit to SDSU for making the trip to Logan. That seemed to be the most difficult hurdle in winning the game yesterday. Once they showed up, the win was a given and without resistance.

He was suited up and on the sideline with his helmet on all night. They talked several times throughout the game about the large brace on his knee. They reported after halftime that he was unavailable for the second half. Hurt knee.

Historically, this investment provides a huge ROI down the road. NBA teams have gone up and up just like home values in SLC ;) If the $1.6B was just the price tag for the Jazz (which it isn't - there are other assets and franchises included in the sale), the ROI on the Miller's investment 35 years ...

Maybe it's time we let our All-American returner field punts (assuming he's a go for next week). He can't catch well when there’s a crowd of opposing players near him.... hence the reason he’s never started at receiver... since you think you know everything Apparently neither can Jordan. Maybe, we ...
