Re: KWill is Clutch

Love Kerwynn. I don't know him personally, but I love his attitude. It amazes me what he has accomplished in his career here. He didn't complain a peep when he played behind two NFL runningbacks last year. He played his role and waited his turn. I remember he said in an interview last year he though...

Matt Lopez

I was very pleasantly surprised with Lopez' hands and aggressiveness. It is nice to finally have a center in Logan that has the size of a center that can play like a center. This team is not without its problems right now, but with Shaw, Reed, and now Lopez in the post, USU is going to be a tough te...

Quick Strikes

In how many games this year has USU scored on their first play from scrimmage on their first possession of the game? I know they did it against LaTech and UNLV. I am sure there are others. It's really quite amazing.

Didn't USU have a student die recently from alcohol poisoning? Is it possible the police department is enforcing the established laws to protect people from themselves? The already sketchy judgment of teenagers gets worse when you mix alcohol in. Was the department a little more lax before the unive...

Johndale Carty would make this team better. John Chick, Ben Crosland, Walter Feifia would all be in the mix. Emmett White would start over Kerwynn. Kevin Alexander and Nakia Jenkens and Aaron Jones would all play above most of this team's receivers.

Going into today's game, USU was ranked #33 according to Jeff Sagarin. Here are the ticket prices for the cheapest general admission ticket available for the teams five spots in front and five spots behind USU for each team's next home game: #28 Wisconsin $42 #29 Penn State $70 #30 BYU $25 #31 Nebra...

Re: Marshall's injury??

To be honest, I couldn't really tell where the injury occurred on the television broadcast. Even on the replay it didn't look like the hit he took should have caused much of an injury - just kind of a run-of-the-mill hit from the side about knee high. Hopefully it wasn't more than just a bruise. I d...

Re: Our D cant be on the field for 106 plays

Our secondary, which I thought might be a strong point this year, has got me very nervous. There were just too many plays today where a defensive back was nowhere near the reciever, and when they were, they couldn't defend the pass. Will Davis did not have one of his better games IMO, and Nevin Law...

My wish list for next year

I mentioned this in chat during the game, but two things I would really like to see next year. 1) A big, strong back that can run between the tackles 2) A go-to receiver like Grigsby from San Jose. That guy was great and could get open and catch the ball. We haven't had a consistent, legitimate rece...

It's tough to not give it to Patton though. 21 catches for 233 yards and 4 TDs. Mind blowing!
so who gets the assignment on Patton? Lawson? I think a PI or two will occur in that game

I hear a lot about how awesome BYU's linebackers are. I can't imagine they are any better than Mike Taylor and Chris Borland from Wisconsin and USU was able to move the ball against them. The thing that bothers me about that video that I didn't notice on the television feed is, after the game was over and the Aggie team and fans were celebrating in the middle of the field, I can distinctly hear "Utah Man" being played by the Utah band. My high school did the "Sweet Caroline" back in the 80s. It worked well then. In Baltimore, during Orioles games they play "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and the whole crowd sings along. That would work well in Logan and everyone knows the words.

KSL has nothing to gain by covering USU, in fact, it could be argued that it hurts KSL to talk up USU. KSL and BYU are part of the same corporation. If USU starts getting the upper hand on BYU in sports, it is in KSLs best interest to sweep it under the rug and not talk about it. BYU has many, many ...
