Re: We did the 2 for 1...

It seems as though you'd like fair treatment from both schools. That's nice. But it's not gonna happen. You want fair treatment from the Y and the U? We've gotta earn it first. On the field. Until then, we should do what Idaho does and schedule 1-1's with MAC teams regularly or do likewise with tea...

players over for dinner question

I have a question and perhaps someone out there knows the answer. In the past we have gotten to know a few of the players on the team (Blake Eagal, Jake Atkinson), but currently we don't know anybody. It has been a great experience in the past to expose my kids (ages 11, 8, 5, and 2) to people from ...

Do any of you remember the thread that was similar to this last year? Well, I still have my digital printer (for clothing items) so I would be more than happy to throw some of these on a shirt if people were interested. This is what the last version looked like: http://www.zazzle.com/robert_turbin_t...

Re: Best and Worst Plays in Aggie History

I don't remember exactly what game it was, but I remember a game about 15-20 years ago (I was a kid and we were listening to Al Lewis go crazy) that we were leading late, the other team had the ball with no timeouts. They completed a long pass to get in field goal range but didn't have enough time t...

I was talking with someone who knows Turbin's dad, and they said that the plan was for Turbin to play one year before he jumps into the league. At least that was the plan before the injury so who knows what it is now. I would love for him to stick around, but can you really blame him for wanting to ...

Re: We Won, But I'm not impressed

Even though we all agree that this years team is special, I think that if we had lost to SJSU last night that we would be left out of the dance. There is a long history of disrespect for USU when it comes to the tourney and I think a loss last night would have been used as ammo for those who don't l...

I looked for it on the news last night. Fox 13 mentioned it and showed highlights of Tai laying one in and a few others. Channel 5 didn't even mention the broken backboard. I'm sorry, but if there is one highlight from a game, any game, that I want to see, it is a backboard being shattered . Can't ...

The sad thing is (for them anyway) if we did play them down there, it would almost be the same as a home game for us. How many fans are they averaging a game nowadays, 200-300? We could fill their stadium for them (just like they claim they do for us in football) and help their season averages. ;)

Hopefully with the running backs healthy again the play calling on offense will be drastically different from last year. If not, well, it's going to be another long losing season.

Let's see, we were 4-8 from the line and they were 20-27. Total fouls were 24 to 13. Wesley had 5, Jardine had 4 as did Pane. Only one of their starters had more than 1 foul (Vaughn had 2). Yes, it was definitely an even called game. Anyone who watched it could see we got homered big time. There was...

I wouldn't say that I hate Borel, but he has done little to impress me this year. He is not a pocket passer, yet it seems that game in and game out we are hell bent on making him a pocket passer. I agree with both of those things; however, it should be pointed out that Gary Andersen has said himself that he is the one who decides whether or not to go for it on 4th down or to punt/kick a FG. I feel like GA was too conservative on those two situations. ... playing to win versus playing not to...
