USU-BYU Series Extended

We'll be playing BYU home and home (much to to Boogar's chagrin, I'm sure) through at least 2026. https://fbschedules.com/utah-state-byu-extend-future-football-series-through-2026/ Most interestingly, it looks like they're all late September/early October and mostly on the Friday before LDS General ...

That's an awfully nice list given the state of the program a couple months ago.

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

Another great performance from Bojan tonight. He seems to have found his groove. Royce Oneal also looking really good. I am not going to predict a title, but the Jazz are going to be a damn tough out against anyone. With the Clippers losing tonight, Jazz once again have the best record in the NBA. ...

I know that recruiting rankings aren't always super accurate, but why would you publicly pull an offer from the #12 ranked TE in the country? It looks bad and there's a really good chance he'll be a good player.

Re: I say cut the MW Tournament to 4 this year

I've never been accused of being particularly optimistic, and even I think COVID will be in a better place by March than it is today, and generally speaking it's in a lot better place today than it was this time last month. A months worth of vaccinations and being further removed from the height of ...

Re: Healthy Locker Room

With so many transfers, there is a plausible risk that some come in with an attitude of "been there, done that," and "I'm here to save the program," which can alienate the current players who committed to USU originally and/or who have been around and invested in the program. To possibly compound t...

I figured they'd lose today, but still excited to see Bojan playing well and has found his shot. Conley and Mitchell normally are not going to shoot this poorly. Great winning streak. Look forward to another winning streak starting up against Detroit. More than that, the Nuggets shot like 65% on ne...

Joe Ingles just passed John Stockton for the most made threes in Jazz history. Not bad for a seemingly Europe league guy that was picked up off the waiver wire.

After reading the report about the phone call and seeing Maile's reaction to not being hired, I don't think keeping him on would have been in the best interest of the program.

Just read that Tennessee is paying UCF about $6 million in buyouts. $2.5 million for hiring White, and $3.5 million for White deciding to bring Heupel with him.

Interesting. I'd heard rumors and such, but glad to know the university didn't have to pay him out. I'm sure they'll be pushing some forward. We can probably safely assume the commits that aren't at spring ball will be push-forwards and taken from next year's 25.
