I have a great idea for a flash mob tonight....

How about every time the band plays that Scotsman song we all show our Aggie pride and stand up in our seats and yell the words as loud as we can while pretending like were herding sheep and then milking cows. Oh wait, I don't have to arrange this with any Aggie fans because I know you will all be t...

Re: USU/One True Team Game on Big Screen in Romney

You COULD watch the game on a small screen at Romney Stadium or you could hop in your car, drive 2 hours south and see the game in person. You can cheer loud no matter where you are but the players aren't going to here you from Romney. Agreed! Go to the game. The team and coaching staff deserves it...

“I really wasn’t too nervous. I knew the guys around me had my back. I just came in as focused as I could be and tried to get the ball into our receivers’ hands. Ultimately, we just didn’t do what we needed to do,” - Chuckie Keeton Great sign! After a great performance in which he could've taken all...

Re: How Many Games Will we Win?

The theme of all the posts throughout training camp focused on the lack of leading and experienced QB as the only thing holding us back. Remember all the "what if we had Borel this year" posts? Well that question was answered and put to rest today IMHO. Now we've got great depth on offense (exept up...

Re: How Many Games Will we Win?

There's really no excuse for our kickoffs not to reach the endzone.. especially at sea level. This isn't high school, and we can't afford to lose the field position battle every game. For the record, all other things being equal, a kickoff at sea level will not go as far as the same kickoff at 4800...

Re: CBS Sportsline WAC Preview...

This guy is obviously an out of touch junior writer that has simply taken a snapshot of the past few years and strung together some up-in-the-night predictions. USU has much to prove based on past performance, for sure. I get that. It doesn't take a lot of effort, however, to realize that there are ...

Re: WOW!! If a QB Were Named Today it Would Be Chuckie Keeto

http://www.usufans.com/News/5470 Luckily for Adam, they're still waiting until after the scrimmage on Saturday to name a starter so it isn't over yet. It'll be interesting to see who wins it but the suspense is going to end in a couple of days. I still think with the QB situation, we'll have a bett...

Re: Clean up the game

I agree with Both NVA and Mets, it's a money issue. Right now the reward outweighs the punishment. Make them pay with real dollars, meaning they give back virtually every cent they've made (and already spent) during periods of proven illegal activity and schools will tighten up from the top down. Gi...

Re: Bartlett out for the year..........

This is bad, bad news. Given how med RS are handled (although it is inconsistent) it is unlikely he will play another down for USU. Players who are injured before the season begins rarely get the year back and he is a senior. We'll need big years out of the backups, but I think Lloyd, Tialivea, and...

My wife just bought a blue football shirt (super sexy I might add) with the number 9 on it. My 7 year-old called it her Bobby Wagner shirt out of the blue last night. 2nd proudest moment of my life, right behind the time he declared that he broke up with his 1st grade girlfriend right after he found...

I have no idea how difficult or easy this would be- but since you're USU grads my money is on the fact you could make it look easy. How about an iPhone App for those of us who are blocked at work? Just a thought.

Re: which scenario would you prefer for 2012?

Well, if we go 8-4 in 2011 in the WAC, and then go 4-8 our first year in the MWC, that would be okay with me, since it would mean that our basketball team would be in with a bunch of better teams. A couple more years and our football team can get the winning MWC records... :scotsman: Good point Mil...

"Football, basketball or checkers, I want to win."

"I don't mind playing defense," Turbin said. "If I were to go to a college and was offered a scholarship, I will play whatever position will help the team."

Two quotes from a 16 year-old Turbin that say it all.....this is why I love Turbin.

How long have you been withholding the info on Riley Harper? Looks good. GA gave him a scholly I assume? I think I speak for most everyone that was at the spring scrimmage that I might start sleeping a little better....please don't withhhold kicker info any more. Thanks.
