Re: Crew Ainge is transferring

I think Fakira will be gone, but unless one of Stall or Grootfaam is medically unable to go I’m not sure we move on from them. I could see TK leaving too for more playing time, but saw enough from him that I hope he sticks around and develops here. I would love to get a Juco guard and have TK redsh...

Re: The best part

I love Porter but he needs to be coming off the bench. Porter improved a lot this season. Let's see how Porter plays next season before judging how good Porter is. Porter has been a good contributor, but I think a better PG would be huge for next season. Someone fast and under control that can get ...

Re: The Refs

The only really bad call I recall was right at the start when Porter got his 3 blocked and he got steamrolled but no call. Our guys were weak with the ball. Hopefully next year Porter will have learned to pump fake the guy and then jump into him and draw the foul. Then the next time he is not comin...

If you really want to load up on Aggie gear the bookstore at the Toole satellite campus another option. A bit of a drive but probably your best selection in the area.

Just remember that anything can happen from year to year. Just look at us this year. Take nothing for granted.
I would expect Boise and New Mexico to be much improved next year.

Quetta got some a few sweet lobs he threw down in the MWCT. I think we will see more next year if he doesn’t leave to go pro. Crossing my fingers he gives us 1 more year.

Re: Refs

Two plays that come to mind are the no call when Taylor went for a layup and got fouled on the arm by McDaniels. Should have been an easy call. The other was Brito getting ran over at mid court. Again no call and then we get the over and back. Did Sam get fouled on his three pointer late in the gam...

I know Porter didn’t have his best game tonight, but I am really beginning to like what I see from him. Doesn’t back down and is an underrated defender. Glad we have him for two more years. Mathis didn’t shoot well, but Jackson did. I don’t see Mathis having two bad shooting games in a row. I was a freshman at USU in the 03-04 season when we were in the top 25 and left out, so I will never think we're a "lock" until our name is on the screen on Selection Sunday. I believe we have to win at minimum our first game in the tourney, and likely our 2nd. I was a junior at USU that same year....

As I understand the rule the defender needs to be in place before the offensive player leaves the ground. Based on the second photo of the second set of photos Merrill was set and it was the right call. It is hard to tell when watching the video at full speed.

IMO the best scenario for us would be the following: We get the 2 seed after losing the tie breaker to Nevada Wyoming upsets the 7 seed and we get a thin Wyoming team that has not much left in the tank. In the mean time Nevada has to take on a talented New Mexico team that has put it all together ag...

I'm not even sure if we need a PG actually. Porter and Brito are showing they're capable, and TK likely takes a leap forward next year (or redshirts, could see both happening). It wouldn't hurt, but Porter has honestly been very steady at the point since hes taken over. If we replace Ainge with a c...
