Re: Cowbell

It’s a normal thing with young percussionists who are still in school... don’t worry, they’re all taking lessons and will get better eventually... It's the cowbell. Pretty sure you either have a sense of rhythm or you don't. Not sure it can be taught. The forecast says the chance of improvement is ...

Re: Without question, if queta doesn’t start playing this week

This team is better than all 3, even without Queta. St Mary's might beat us because it's at their house, we should beat the other 2 either way I love my Aggies as much as the next fan, but I still don't know how we'll match up against LSU, St. Mary's, and Florida since we haven't really been tested...

My post wasn't pointed at you. It was pointed at all the meltdown, worst-case-scenario speculation all across this board. You made the assumption it was directed at you. Though, in fairness, I do believe it was your post that pushed me to respond given the seeming hyperbolic conclusions you were rea...

Re: Without question, if queta doesn’t start playing this week

the rest of the guys will need to make the adjustments necessary to not have nearly 5 minutes without a basket again- because that is a 20 point run against anyone else that wasn't 0-4 going into the game. I agree with the premise, but 20 points in 5 minutes would be on pace to score 160 in the gam...

People are saying Delta lost Gottlieb's luggage which explains why he showed up looking like a recently-fired and now-homeless ER doctor. But, other than that, I loved the broadcast.

Apathy. Some of us who grew up in Cache Valley are die-hard fans and wouldn't have missed a single game despite the mediocre product being put on the field or court. I would have loved to live in Cache Valley when the Aggies were trotting out teams who could compete at the highest levels. But I reco...

Speculate: form a theory or conjecture about a subject without firm evidence. We are speculating for the precise reason we don’t know what’s happening. That’s kind of the point. The conference looks pretty tough this year. San Diego State and New Mexico are currently unbeaten. San Diego State beat BYU in Provo. New Mexico has scored more than 90 in every game this season. UNLV looks pretty good. Nevada is decent. San Jose State, Air Force, and Wyoming are still bad. It is ...

I dissent. Before the Jim Everett thing nobody outside SoCal had ever heard of him. Jim Rome has always struck me as a douche. Very little substance, all attitude. Re: Big night for former Aggies.

My trouble with Koby was his usage rate was as high as Sam's but his efficiency was low. As a Soph he earned 0.979 points per shot attempt (2s and 3s). On the other hand Sam Merrill earned 1.264 per shot. So every shot Koby took instead of Sam we lost over .28 points. It amounts to about 3.5 points...

I wouldn't read anything into a 3-game stretch. 1. We need to run 5-10 play action/handoffs/RPOs from under center every game to keep the option (no pun intended) alive. Absolutely ridiculous to start out of shotgun on a 4th-and-inches.

2. The math says it was 100% the right decision to go for it, but it was 100% the wrong play call.
