Re: My favorite wins in Utah State history.

How about your "favorite" losses? The two that spring to mind immediately for me were both against UNLV: The first is the 142-140 triple overtime loss to UNLV in 1985 where USU should have won in regulation, the first OT, and the third OT, but managed to blow it each time. The Ags were up by six in ...

Re: My favorite wins in Utah State history.

my favs are 1. Beating BYU in 1970 when they had Kresimir Cosic, Nate Williams hit a 30 footer to win. 2. In the old fieldhouse beating a #4 Seattle, with Shaler Halimon and his pro-type game. 3. Beating a Guy Lewis Houston team at home in the first year of the Spectrum. 4. Beating a very good UTEP...

Yep the team didn't quit, unlike a bunch of the fans. I had a work function, so missed Chat tonight, but sat down to watch the game on the DVR as soon as I got home. Watched it start to finish. Amazing. But missing out on Chat makes me wonder how many fans were ready to give up down 17 in the first...

We outsmart teams. Other teams go 1 on 1 ball when we share the ball. Biggest reason we are ranked and 6-0. This is the point I was making about McEewen fitting in better at Marquette. Some teams like That and LSU are Moore free flowing and use there individual skill and quickness to beat you. Our ...

Holy sh!t. We won the game in spectacular fashion. Can we focus on that rather than getting butt-hurt about an announcer mistakenly referring to Logan as Ogden? Classic USUFans thread. Other than the Ogden reference, it didn't even occur to me to think of the announcers as biased. Sometimes I think ...

Virtually no U.S. stadiums allow bottles or flasks. Again, they are getting advice from their lawyers, and it is ostensibly about safety. Agree, Provo. Easy enough to address in a contract -- and completely unacceptable that it wasn't. There have to be contractual ramifications sufficiently punitive to make it impracticable for a lower-tier team to back out of its obligations.

One thing to point out with KenPom is that his early season metrics are pretty flawed and each game has moved USU up quite a bit. USU started the year at 68. So far we've performed better than expected while LSU, Saint Mary's and Florida have all performed worse than expected. This isn't to say tha...
