Re: Never Change BYU Fans

So, do Universities need to cast off fans who failed to obtain a degree or never even attended classes? I never interned or worked on the grounds crew for the St. Louis Cardinals, so am I not qualified to be their fan? I didn't know there was a litmus test for University fans. I'd expect that attit...

Re: Never Change BYU Fans

Part of what I don’t understand, and maybe it is this way everywhere- I dunno. Maybe I need another perspective, but I find it odd that so many people who never sniffed college, never took any classes, never went to community college, never took concurrent enrollment classes, maybe they didn’t even ...

The Orem football team might have something to say about it. They wouldn’t want anyone to mistake their high school with some sub par independent.

Re: What are our positions of Need now?

I am not convinced we need a big WR. Our best WR in the past five years was 5'11'' (Hunter Sharp). You have deep threats, you have possession guys, and you have change-of-pace guys. Scarver can absolutely be a deep threat with his speed, Nathan can be a change-of-pace guy that moves around, gives y...

North Texas Reminds Me of....

I’ve forgotten most of the details from that game but I seem to remember our dudes making the news for some bar fight in Boise. That news story was immediately followed by Cincinnati players visiting children at the children’s hospital. I thought the contrast didn’t look so good for us. I hope I’m ...

Hopefully GA does become that legacy hire. Think how those fans must think when that happens. What, maybe our program sucks? They may have to take a realistic look at where they are, like Aggie fans have had to do.

Re: Exposing Biases: Hiring an FCS Head coach to USU

I’m not sure I’m for or against it, but my concern would be who would Hill bring with him? What are his connections? Does he bring staff from Weber? That doesn’t seem like a great option. I’m not saying he doesn’t have connections, I have no idea.

If Hill is the choice who are his coordinators? He can’t just bring guys with him from WSU can he... it’s one thing for an FCS head coach to make the jump but coordinators too. Does he have the connections to get a good staff?

I think it’s funny that because byu is so superior to USU, the only option fans see now is to fire everyone and start their second string qb. Like fire everyone Tuiaki, Sitake, Holmoe... etc
