Re: Basketball Parking

It looks like they are just putting in new curbing and landscaping. So I'm guessing they will put down new blacktop and it will still be parking.

Re: 2020-2021 schedule

We are playing St. Mary's Dec 12. That means BYU on December 5th and St. Mary’s a week later. Assuming there’s a game in between those two that makes for a very very fun week of basketball with two massive home games. Both of them are Saturday games whichh makes them better for attendance and envir...

Re: Recruiting

It sounds like Nigel John decided to back out on his Letter of Intent a few weeks ago. He's two for two on backing out of commitments, now? Exactly, he would be one to hit the transfer portal if he didn't like how things were going. I would rather have a Justin Bean who digs in and tries harder.

Re: 20 game schedule.

I just don't see any downside to this for USU. Every year USU has had to fill the schedule with a couple of really bad schools. I'm not talking about the two non-counting games each year. There are still plenty of non-conference games to play each season. If you could guarantee only one game against...

Saw a tweet about Matthew Wickizer with all the USU coaching staff talking about another Aggie.

Re: Projecting Colombi Against Former USU QBs

It might be blasphemous to say, but Chuckie doesn't deserve the #2 spot on the list. It's cool and all that he was the QB at the beginning of the resurgence of our football program BUT in all honesty, he didn't really get a whole helluva lot done. Other than Utah, it was close but no cigar the rest...

Re: Recruiting

Virginia is definitely not a developmental program unlike USU. He must have some talent to have gone there. He's had a year to develop under Smith's watch. I expect something good from him, but don't expect a Jaycee Carroll or Sam Merrill immediately. We still need a good experience guard to be comp...

Re: Bischoff in Transfer Portal

As long as Bischoff has been in the portal, I don't think he is going to get a scholarship to a decent school. He's probably being asked to walk-on at any schools he's talked to. If he hasn't burned his bridges with Smith, he should stay at USU.

Re: When will we know if there will be a season?

Just saw that for all of Cache County, there has only been 43 covid 19 cases with something like 6 hospitalizations. It seems to me that safeguards can be put in place with that low of incidence. We are also finding out that there are lots of individuals that have had the virus with no symptoms and ...

Re: When will we know if there will be a season?

News has been coming out that covid19 is less deadly and more wide spread than originally thought. I have a feeling that the non-at-risk people will be out and about like normal within the next 3-4 weeks. Sporting events will take place with safe guards in place. Those of us who have things that mak...

So has the better frontcourt BYU or USU for next year? Queta, John, Kuba, Trevin and Bean, Anderson, Liam vs. Haarms, Kolby Lee, Harward and Baxter, Lowell. I still think we are better but I could be biased. I agree slcagg, USU will have the better frontcourt. I would take Queta, Bean and Anderson ...

Re: Huntsman basketball arena

The U is able to pour lots of money on it's basketball program, but what are the results oleblu? I think that is what everyone is pointing out. Yes USU could use a ton more money, but it's not there yet. I would still rather watch a game with USU in the old Spectrum than watch the utes in their redo...
