Re: Brito

I’ve been waiting for someone to call out Brito. The only good he has done was help bring Queta to USU. His careless turnovers are such a joke. I don’t know how wide open you need to be to knock down at least 35% from beyond the arc. Still trying to figure why we as the 2nd tallest team in D1 are t...

It could be worse. We are 14-6 in basketball and were 7-6 in football. In addition we have a potential 1st round QB and a potential NBA draft pick. Just saying it could be worse... Actually, tonight couldn’t possibly be worse. Worst meltdown I’ve ever witnessed and that’s really saying something as...

Regressing to the mean

This applies to both basketball and football.

Last year was so, so good.

This year is so not good.

We are simply regressing to the average of what USU athletics is capable of being, I'm scared to say.

Third jersey?

With the new jerseys this year, I seem to remember hearing there was a secret third jersey that would be used later in the year.

First, am I wrong about that?

If true, do we know when this will happen? I’m wondering if it will be a Spectrum Magic jersey that looks a lot like the Jazz City jerseys.

On the “Aggies” theme, don’t rule out UC Davis offensive coordinator, Tim Plough.

They have had the best offense in the Big Sky since he took over as OC and he’s considered a top young coach.

With the boost in tv revenue, do we potentially decrease our money games in favor of home-home with low-tier P5 or AAC teams? Not saying we get rid of them completely, but maybe not every year.
Wondered this too. At minimum we should quit being sacrificial lambs to blue bloods.

I like that we seem to be getting back to regional games for the FCS contests. SUU next year. North Dakota in 21. Then these guys. If we are going to play a FCS game it might as well be one that draws a few hundred paying fans.

Also understated is how garbage a S&C coach Dave Scholz was/is. The “results” he got looked good as far as self promoting himself on Twitter but the program he ran for the kids was criminal. It’s a huge game against a ranked opponent. It’s not going to be cheap. Anywhere else in the country, tickets to this type of game would be at least $100. I don't see another scenario that works out. Too many critical losses for the majority of the MWC. Spot on. We are a one bid league of ...

Would 100 percent support a home and home with the NewMags. This is correct, per Coach Smith, the tournament told schools to hold a couple dates for the games and so USU and others did, and then by the time they announced the games wouldn't be scheduled, literally the only thing USU could do was schedule the sisters of the poor.
