Re: Bovee on attendance
Look, I have 4 kids. They range in age from 16-6. They have social lives, homework, dance, piano, baseball, basketball, and a half dozen other responsibilities. To be honest, driving up to a weeknight basketball game against Podunk State isn't really a priority for my family right now. And attendin...

Re: Bovee on attendance
2018 home attendance through six games: 6,177 avg 2019 home attendance through six games: 7,704 avg We are doing fine. That's a 25% YOY increase, and we have been "Aggied Out" with all the events packed into the last 2.5 weeks. Last year's non-conference attendance was 6,300 per game, and rose to 7...

Re: Bovee on attendance
This is a lame excuse and possibly only a minor reason, but I think part of it has to do with 6 home games in a row against low ranking opponents. To me it can feel exhausting, but at the same time games are an all day thing for me. I can't see why students cant show up for two hours. I also wish s...

Bovee on attendance
So it’s getting noticed. The energy of the crowds that are showing up have been great but there’s just not enough people. It is frankly sad. We announced 8,667 tonight. There is no. Way. In. Hell. There were that many people there. https://i.postimg.cc/4nPrxb50/9-E52-DAFE-CD70-430-E-A12-F-DC2-F46235...

I don't think we're going to see Neemy until January. Would love to be proven wrong, but if I had to put an entry in a "baby pool" that's when I'd pick.

Re: Loved the post game with Coach Smith
Sorry to be a broken record but in addition to the mid-week games being an issue, the six games in 21 days is also problematic, especially when 0.5 of those games are against attractive opponents. My primary interest in seeing more people at the games is purely selfish...it is more fun when the plac...

Re: We desperately need ticket promotions for the next three games
It's not a matter of having great fans or not having great fans. The issue is purely that we had ~~6,500 people at a game last night, it was clear for some time that this game would have lesser attendance, and it's not clear what, if anything, was done to mitigate. Here's the challenge faced here: 1...

Re: We desperately need ticket promotions for the next three games
I'm not complaining so much as lamenting that it doesn't seem we are doing more. You have to capitalize on these opportunities when they present themselves. If I were in charge of ticketing and promotions, here is what I would be doing right now: 1) Have tickets for sale at multiple outlets in the v...

Re: We desperately need ticket promotions for the next three games
Go look at the ticket site. Far too many available tickets. Six games in two weeks is far out of the norm for our fan base and is fatiguing for people who aren’t season ticket holders. And I’m of the opinion that we should be near selling out given the quality and hype of this team. How many opportu...

Re: Rankings
Saint Mary's is going to be our toughest game BY FAR. I posted this a while back and people flamed me saying it would be Florida or LSU, but the schedule makes St. Mary's an absolute monster. Their game prior to ours on 11/29 is 11/23 at home, and they will not have been on the road before that sinc...

We desperately need ticket promotions for the next three games
Looking at available tickets, the sell rate for our next three games is nothing short of pathetic. It is unusual to have five home games (six if you count the exhibition) in such a compressed period of time. Couple that with mostly no name opponents, and we are missing key opportunities to pack the ...

Re: We won.
Great:
The crowd and students specifically were in January form. I could complain about it not being a sell out but the energy is a 180 from this time last year.
Embarrassing: whoever was responsible for the lights going out twice during free throw shots. Pure amateur hour.

Re: Queta update: no update
Here's the facts: An option for this injury immediately after it happened was surgery. They opted to rehab and hope it would allow Queta to play this season. If there are complications in the rehab, more time will be missed. The team wants to be in the best possible position for an at large, so havi...

I’ve shared the $5 offer with friends and family and had a few takers. Like treesap I’d get tickets for anyone whether I know them or not. I think the promo is great and I appreciate it. Even without the promo, tickets in Section A are $20 for adults and $10 for youth. This is for a Top 20 team. Un...

Re: Game day experience fail
If you want to have an experience with less frills at a lower cost, go elsewhere, but don’t act as if buying the cheap seats entitles you to the amenities of the new part of the stadium unless you’re going to pony up or at minimum invest the time to walk to the west side . If that is an invitation ...

Re: Predict disappointing early season
I believe Kuba will be as good or better than freshman Queta was, and Dorius is definitely better than what we got as backup at the 5 last year. Merrill will be Merrill. Porter, Brito, Bean all look incredible. Fonz is going to slot right in. Bairstow/Miller should both be solid. This team is incred...

Aggie fans complaining? What else is new? I arrived to the stadium at 4 pm to tailgate, there were no parking issues, because football is meant to show up early and have fun. If you think you can roll in right before kickoff and breeze into the game, you are your own problem. There are NO “reserved”...

It's obviously good to buy through the team to support their ticket sales if you plan on being there for all sessions, but it also is a great option to just buy off Stubhub or Seatgeek -- this is what I did last year when I drove down Friday morning and caught the last two rounds, ended up getting g...

Everyone should go downvote all the voters with their heads up their a**es that don't have us in the top 25. When you only have 4 out of 65 voters leave us off the ballots, it means they are either biased or just uninformed. Even Dick Vitale has us at 25 and he is an ACC homer all the way. It's lik...

LSU fans are absolutely, bar none, without a doubt, by a magnitude of at least five and possibly more, the best fans I've ever encountered, and that is absolutely including our own fans. If we had a commissioner who was worth anything at all he'd be working day and night to secure some type of scheduling alliance with someone like the WCC or if worse comes to worst, the Big Sky...we can't be the only conference having these problems.
