Re: Sprinkle to Washington

At lease we get a second year in a row where some other school paid our basketball coach. This year VCU paid Sprinkle's salary, next year Washington will be paying our new coach's salary.

Re: NIL where did it go wrong?

The equivalent in the NBA or NFL is that every player is on a one year contract, with the ability to move teams if they don’t like the way things are going during two separate periods during the calendar year, once after the season is over and again after offseason training before preseason starts. ...

It will be interesting to see how it plays out in hiring the new coach. It would be great if we can have some success on the women's side. Admin's is this the largest thread ever on the side yet?

With both Ken and Bronco now in the MW, its gonna be a dog fight for MW caliber LDS recruits. Football in the Mountain West got much better this offseason. I’m just glad we already had holiday plans. Otherwise we probably would have gone to the bowl game. Instead I watched the game in espanol from our hotel in Mexico. It was like watching a slow motion car crash. Our defense couldn’t stop anything.

Coached him in little league for three years. I don’t love that he bailed on his boys at Davis. I wonder how long he will keep making the commute from fruit heights to Lehi? I'm just curious why Testa would go? He was doing great on extra points and field goals until he got injured and now Nimrod is graduating, it seems like the starting job would be his. Must be something more to this one, but in the end I'm less worried about replacing a kicker than any other positio...

75-39 loss to EWU tonight. 7 points in the fourth quarter and 16 in the second half.

Pathetic.
This is beyond embarrassing.
With a new administration now in place, I say that Kayla doesn’t make it to February. This is really bad.

That’s not on the coaches. The QB changed the play at the line. The coach was PISSED!!! The QB knew better too, he has played in the NFL for a long time.

If this happened, Ryan Smith would almost surely build a new arena since the Delta Center is not cut out for hockey. Re: Arizona Coyotes on the move?

The Delta Center underwent a huge renovation a couple years ago. It is an older structure but is suitable for hosting the Jazz for at least the next 20 years. The renovation cost more than the original arena. The renovation was the reason that SLC hosted the All-Star game this season. Maybe Jerry m...

Before the new arrangement it was a team option (that hadn’t been exercised) that didn’t have any guaranteed money. Jordan and his agent negotiated a one year extension to his rookie contract. That extension added a couple more million in potential money to 2024 based on his performances in 2023. It...

He got like $13.5 million in fully guaranteed money with the extension, plus the total value increases by a couple million. If he plays well this year, I’m sure that they will do a new long term deal with him before the 2024 season.
