Re: First Responder Bowl

Great news for the Tulsa chapter of this board! (population: me, since Sneelock and 918Aggie bugged out). Some people are realistic enough to expect, just being prepared for the worst, your experience to be similar to 918Agg's 2019 trip to Air Force. But we can always hope that it instead ends up c...

Re: Our defense is a problem

What worries me more is our lack of offensive rebounding. We had four total offensive boards, leading to two (!) second-chance points. Against a middling WAC team (seven OR, but for 13 second-chance points) whose best big was on the bench most of the game with foul trouble. Just an off night? We'd b...

Why are Wyoming and Santa Clara playing this afternoon at SLCC? Are they trying not to have any spectators at the game? Bad form to quote my own post, I know. (I'll make it part of my daily repentance.) But does anybody have an answer to my question? What is the benefit of playing a neutral court g...

Just curious is there an NCAA policy where the game is called off because the temperature is too low and presents a health risk to players? In Oz we have temp policies for heat so I was wondering if the opposite is true. Go Aggies! I've never seen a game get called for cold, or heat. Lightning stri...

As kids I taught them to be able to kick on both sides of their body creating an escape route. Ennis is probably better than Stephen using his left foot. Steve did well today if you think of the consequences of NOT getting his kick away. You may have won us the game today! Game ball to AussieAggieD...

Great win for the Astros. Alvarez with a huge 450 foot blast. That pitching staff in Houston -- wow!! Have to feel happy for Dusty Baker. A class guy if there ever was one. Our man Mancini never quite came around offensively, but was stellar at 1B when Yuli went down, and had the play of the Series...

Phillies are just teeing off on McCullers. 5 home runs so far tonight to chase him. Still just the bottom of the fifth. This is a tough lineup in Philly. Dusty trusts his veterans to a fault. Re: Anybody you want LESS to start WS?

Yeah, weird. He’s a shoo-in for Cy Young this year - at 39, after Tommy John surgery. I’ll go against the CW: I’d take him in Game 7 just because he’s way overdue. He’d have won Game 1 if he hasn’t muffed that liner in the fourth - instead of an inning ending DP (runner on first was going), he just ...

We won’t win the MWC. It took us 4 games into the season to start to compete. We basically didn’t show up the first 4 games of the year (I guess you could argue UConn) but I’m sure there will be more games where we just don’t show up. Maybe, but I think the best indicator of the next game is the la...

I thought the catholic schools killed the desire for sdsu/Boise to jump. They initially thought they were joining the Big East, no? Maybe I have that backward.
