Re: OSU and WSU Scheduling - Official
Well, currently, the Utes have Baylor on Sept 14th as a non-conference. Maybe that will be changed. TCU has an opening, but I imagine they want a home FCS opponent. They are at Stanford and SMU for their OOC. My best guess is that the Baylor game will be cancelled and we will play the Utes at Maverik.

Re: Big win
Johnson should have played in the second half. I think that was a mistake by Sprink. I understand trying to match their speed, but sometimes the best way to deal with that is to make them pay with your size. Teams don't keep pressing when they are giving up easy buckets due to the press breaker. Tea...

Re: Such a weird game tonight
And in 60% of the game we scored 90% of our points. Basketball is a game of runs. At the end of the game, we settled for dribbling on the perimeter for most of the shot clock and then a forced corner three. We played right into their hands. Our press breaker was suspect at times. The refs swallowed ...

Re: Transfer Predictions
How many of our players are going to be able to transfer freely? I thought we had several transfer here using their one free transfer. Everyone was excited about Switzer, but I thought he already used his one free transfer.

Re: Blake Anderson teams have no discipline. Ever.
Discipline is more than just penalties. I know this thread has been dedicated to discussing that point (others bringing in off the field issues as well). There aren't stats for missed assignments, missed tackles, missed blocks, etc. Those are also issues that can be tied to discipline. Also, penalti...

Re: 4* QB & brother of Dallin Leavitt is in the transfer portal
Dallin also attended a school down south that needs a QB and has gobs of NIL money. We should definitely offer, though. Yeah, I highly doubt Dallin would ever encourage anyone, let alone his brother, to go to the school down south that he started at. The dude really really dislikes byu, and that mi...

Watch the video. Cauthen makes it clear that he is going to spend more time teaching players about #manhood than teaching football. I believe that is being reflected on the field as well.

NIL is definitely not going as intended. I am against it completely and will never contribute to it. I'm fine with players making money on their name, image, and likeness. I am not fine with the pay-for-play arrangements.

Re: Openings to follow:
I can be understanding about NIL and the portal. I think it makes things increasingly more difficult for top G5 programs to maintain their status year over year. A developmental program like ours was essentially flipped upside down with that change. I can even accept the 6 and 7 win seasons like we ...

Everyone brings up some good points about this year’s team. There is a lot to be happy about. Even in the game yesterday, there were many individual efforts that brought home the win.
