There are a lot of games to play I think UNR will be a factor coming down the stretch. It is going to be fun.

Re: Tomorrow is a really big game

They will probably be better today. I can't see Stevens and Roddy playing so poorly today. I was shocked to see them play so conservatively. I have watched them in other games, and they played much more confidently. It should be a battle similar to game 2 last week. It should be a fun one.

Re: Bairstow

I think Bairstow has taken small steps of progress each season. I like seeing him shooting with confidence this year. His penetration game is still pretty sloppy. I think he is still a year away from being a major contributor. That may change due to eligibility changes due to COVID. I don't see any ...

Re: Zahar Vedishev

Zahar wasn't very good. He was a chucker. I believe he would be best on the BYU roster. Zapala has some talents, but he is a turnover machine. His high rate of turnovers is only eclipsed by his ability to foul. It will be a long process to make him serviceable. Shulga seems like a typical timid Fres...

Re: Dump 1280!

Kind of like the Jimmer stuff right? I don't remember hearing much about Jimmer after his BYU days. He wasn't drafted by the Jazz. Well, besides when he got married, when he had a baby, when he switched teams 10 times, when he went to China to play. Other than that, I never heard about him after tho...

It felt like we were looking in a mirror. Two very good defenses and rebounding. Miller stepping up was huge. He was the difference maker. Anthony and Bean played great defense on Mitchell. That was a great game by our guys.

You are right. We beat them in 2018 60-13. The Bowl season of 2017 was a different story when we let them beat us 26-20.

I'm curious what the next draft stock will look like. Will it be a shallow draft with few leaving? or will it be a mass exodus? If many leave, would it benefit Queta to stay another year?

Re: Defense

I thought UNM did a better job of getting Queta out of the paint in the second half, especially late. I can see more teams trying to do this. It hurt UNM on the boards, but it opened up lanes for the drive. I would bet game 2 will be heavy on this.
