Re: I sure hope we are making players wait until
Didn’t we read somewhere that NIL could not be contingent on playing for a certain school?
Doesn’t make sense, but I thought that’s what we talked about.

Re: Great Osobor
College Basketball, unlike the NBA has not yet become the league where just one superstar can dominate a great, well coached team. If we lose Great, our team will become more guard oriented. It will be different. That is going to happen anyway because we won’t have a PG who controls the game like Da...

I am absolutely hating what the free transfer rule, combined with NIL have done to College Sports.

I get that he doesn’t like the way things have played out here, but here he is almost guaranteed to get on the field at some point. Finding another place where that is the case might not be easy.

I think the best move is for the MWC to threaten to leave them without a home until they realize that they have no leverage, then relent and let them in without special treatment.

Here's a look at the 13=13 list based on aggies22 intel: https://www.usufans.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=69760&p=918810#p918810 Pretty sure Jordy Barnes will be a walk-on like Jaxon Smith. He was not offered a scholarship from Sprinkle and never "signed" an NLI like Wynott and Hill did. This lea...

That is the BYU price. How much would you want to have to spend a year there ?
He will end up somewhere other than there for a lot less money than that.

Is there any indication that Great is considering coming back? He’s the one that would take us to the next level. The only thing I have heard is that the national championship team, UCON has offered Great. That should say it all. While that SHOULD say it all, it is not at all clear that it does, at...

I remember someone saying our team would be gutted if Sprinkle left. Still not out of the question, but looking better for us than expected. Hopefully we will start getting more good news soon.

I am hoping this prompts a few others to follow with their own announcements. Odom recruits are staying strong. Falslev, Johnson, Templin, Phelps, and Sakho are still on the roster (the remaining Odom recruits). Craig Smith recruits have left us. Only a few of Sprinkle transfers remain on the roste...

To be honest, there were several times this season when I was watching the Aggies play and kept thinking Templin, Johnson and Mason would be great young core group to build a new team. Uduje would be looked on as the leader if he stayed, but I really like this group With this core now in place, I t...

70 permanent P4 Schools, and 10 spots for promotion/relegation.
Conceptually it is okay, but the 70 spots for teams who can be bad every year without relegation is just perpetuating the problem that exists right now.

I would also add that Gonzaga is a pipe dream.
They don’t fit with a bunch of public universities, and would not really be better off with us than they are now. Personally, I think we need to let that one go.

Re: Great Osobor
Honestly, the starting forwards before portal additions should be Johnson and Dallin Grant. Dallin Grant was a shooter in HS. So you think Templin is better than Osobor but he shouldn't be starting over Johnson or Grant? So both of them must be two steps ahead of Osobor, right? In that case we shou...

Re: Karson Templin
I remember SLB stating that Shulga should be starting over Anthony, not that Shulga would down the road a few years be better. Also, as usual, some people look at one end of the floor and neglect what a defensive presence Marco was. Shulga may have got awards this year, but one look through the VCU...

Re: Karson Templin
Templin is more talented than Osobor. Before we get into another Shulga vs Anthony type of debate, Templin was a young freshman like Shulga, so Templin is early in his development of his game. Don't do this... You never would have even come close to thinking this if GO wasn't in the portal. This is...

Well, we used to track progress towards graduation and require the completion of at least 12 credits per semester.
Can you even do that if they here for one year, and it is their third of four schools?
