Thanks BBD, I like those chances, your prediction method seems to be pretty solid, unlike some other folks with their doom and gloom after last week.
Thank you.

And may I say, your new avatar is sexy.

Give thanks for BBD Stats! Or don't. See if I care. (Week 13, New Mexico)

Well... that was a disaster. Probably one of the BS'iest BS predictions to date. Taking an oh, so painful look back to compare actual results to expected results shows just about what we already knew. The offense was weak. The defense was just terrible. The one thing that actually surprised me was o...

I could see us making the Lobos look better than they are while still sneaking away with a win. Of course, as with any given Saturday (or Friday, or whatever), anything can happen.

And here's the Kenpom for our full schedule right now, with what quadrant they'd be in: 27 - @BYU (Q1) 28 - @Iowa (Q1) 40 - SDSU (Q2 home, Q1 away) 41 - Saint Mary's (Q2) 45 - Oklahoma, neutral (Q1) 50 - Colorado St (Q2 home, Q1 away) 57 - Boise St (Q2 home, Q1 away) 64 - Richmond, neutral (Q2) 85 -...

Here are the Kenpom rankings for the teams we've played so far: 45 - Oklahoma (neutral = Q1 win, barely) 64 - Richmond (neutral = Q2 win) 105 - NMSU (neutral = Q3 win) 191 - UC Davis (home = Q4 loss, :disappointed: ) 196 - Penn (neutral = Q3 win) So, yeah. We have a Q1 win and a Q4 loss so far. Assu...

I didn't read any of the other comments. The board organization seems a bit tedious. Funny comment. I'm sure they are bashing their own coach and his "trust the process" blather. I have always found that to be a bunch of lame coachspeak. Of course we trust the process. We just want the process to a...

#1 for me is 2011, by a lot. It was such an emotional season, and the players showed so much heart and passion. I loved that team so much. After the Auburn loss, I ran into Turbo at Walmart and told him not to let it bring him down. And then there was the CSU loss. https://bloximages.chicago2.vip.t...

Well when you give up 400+ yards to AF and over 200 to BYU and Boise it takes a lot to bring that average down. We are playing a lot better with rush defense the last several games. Yeah, here are our rushing D performances across the year (with the average rushing yards gained for each team in par...

Re: Home! Home on the BBD Stats! (Week 12, Wyoming)

It amazes me how bad we must have been to have two games with around 20 yards rushing given up and we are still only 8th in the conference... We were down at 12th, sometimes 11th, in all defensive categories for a few weeks, there. Also, you'll want to look at the past 3 games rushing D performance...

Home! Home on the BBD Stats! (Week 12, Wyoming)

About the only thing I was close on for last week's prediction was the Aggie's rushing numbers. We underperformed a little on passing yards and overall yards, but waaaaaay overperformed on points. I'm thinking that this has some to do with a better than usual game for special teams and turnovers (i....

If slightly increasing our paltry chances at an NY6 bowl game is out objective, then I think we want SDSU to win out and we defeat a ranked team in the road in the CCG.

I'd rather host the CCG, though, which means it would probably be Fresno St as our opponent.

I think we need to redefine the redzone as between the opposing 20 and 40 for this team. The 20 to the goal line can be called the deadzone.

We're lucky we didn't play them last year! Jose did well last year right up until they got beat by a mediocre MAC team in their bowl game.
