I just saw 4 takeaways from Matt Glade's twitter. 1-We're officially going back to the 3 man front. 2-We'll slow the pace on offense. 3-Special teams will be split up. 4-QB race is wide open.
On 2, I read it as they would have variable pace on offense.

Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

I ran into Stacey Collins yesterday morning. Had a couple of folks from out of town at work for some meetings and between some meetings I went with them to the Starbucks right outside the West Gate at Hill. It took me just a second to recognize Coach Collins. Didn't realize at the time I was shaking...

The Eagles entered the 2018 season with senior quarterback Gage Gubrud, a two-time finalist for the Walter Payton Trophy – the FCS version of the Heisman. The game plan coming into the year was to lean on his elite arm. But after five games and 217 points, Gubrud went out for the season with a toe ...

He seemed like he overplayed a bit on defense to me. At least out on the perimeter against their more attic players looking to drive in. I could be reading that wrong as I don't have the best analytical eye for basketball. Are there any advanced stats that would show a weakness in allowing players t...

I have been amazed that Nevada managed to become bowl eligible. They have really been one of the worst teams in the conference this year. Really wish SJSU would have pulled off the wins against UNLV and Nevada to be bowl eligible this year, instead. They were so very close.

Yeah, I get that we have bigger concerns. But every team needs a kicker. And really, that kicker is going to need a backup. If Coles is the only PK we have on the roster, what happens if he gets injured?

Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else, but I just don't recall this specifically discussed before. Who takes over place-kicking duties from Dom? I'm seeing no offers or commits, except for the Aussie punter, Kotsanlee. We only have one other place-kicker listed on the roster right now in...

Yeah, I hate references to total stats. It should be per game, or maybe even some kind of enhanced statistic of some sort. But at least use the per game stats. Being 3rd in rebounding is impressive enough.

6 is the threshold for NBA, right? They play 60 minutes of regulation. We play 40. Really, we should drop it to 4 fouls a game if it's going to be proportional.

That Wyoming game deserved much better attendance. Sure, it was in November, but the weather was great that day and that was an afternoon game. BYU and Boise St not being sell outs was disappointing, but not even the student turnout for the Wyoming game was very good.
